Heidi Cherry & Vaya | Guinea Pig Nightmare

This Awesome, Fun Bedtime Story For Kids is about that time Cherry confessed to the gang that she had a particular funny fear of guinea pigs.
These fun stories are created to help children of all ages settle down for a happy nights sleep. Aiding to reduce anxieties, stresses and worries by replacing them with a smile.

Transcript

Are you ready to meditate with Cori?

Are you ready to stay so still and quiet and try not to jump around and get crazy,

Bounce off the walls,

All of that fun stuff,

But not right now?

Right now is when we lay down,

We be still,

And we listen to a Heidi,

Cherry and Vea story.

Heidi,

Cherry and Vea were having a sleepover at Jed's house,

Along with Eden and Micah,

Who were brothers,

And Kale,

Their friend.

They were all going to hang out,

Watch movies,

Eat popcorn,

And the most exciting part for Heidi,

And everyone else,

Was to play with Jed's guinea pigs,

Arthur and Benny.

Now,

Cherry wanted to play with the guinea pigs,

But she also had a secret fear of guinea pigs.

She was trying to get over her fear of guinea pigs and not tell anybody about her fear of guinea pigs,

But still she had this weird fear of guinea pigs,

But she really wanted to play with the guinea pigs,

So that's why she was excited.

They were all hanging out in Jed's room,

And Cherry said,

You know,

This is going to sound absolutely crazy,

OMG crazy,

I mean like OMG so crazy guys,

So crazy,

But I have something to tell you.

I have a confession.

I've been thinking about hiding it from you and not saying anything,

But you know,

Why would you have secrets from your guy friends?

Because you know,

Guys are so understanding,

Boys are so,

You know,

They're just like easy going,

And oh yeah,

Alright then,

And whereas girls are like,

Ooh,

What,

When?

Which I like too,

But boys are like,

Oh,

Alright then,

And then they just move on with something else.

So I thought this is going to be the perfect time to express my deepest fear,

And feel free guys,

If you have a fear,

To take turns,

Because you know,

This is a sleepover,

We can have like a little powwow like you do when you're sat around the fire when you're doing like boy scouts and stuff,

But we're not boy scouts,

And we're not sat around a fire,

But that's alright,

Because you know,

We can pretend.

I say we shove all our shoes in the middle of the room,

Sit round in a circle,

And I will confess my fear,

And if anyone else would like to join me,

Please do.

Anyway,

I'll start.

Everyone shuffled around and sat in a circle,

Just like Cherry wanted.

They actually were quite interested in what was going on.

Jed said,

Do you have a fear of heights?

Eden and Micah said,

No,

It's a fear of slime.

You know she doesn't like slime.

So true,

So true,

I really don't like slime,

But no,

This is not slime,

Guys,

This is not slime,

But good guess,

Good guess.

Kale said,

Is it a fear of boogers?

Cherry said,

What?

Kale said,

Yeah,

Boogers.

Cherry said,

You mean those things in your nose?

No,

No,

I'm not scared of those,

You can sneeze on me and put those on me,

I'm fine with those.

Yeah,

No,

It's not boogers.

Um,

No,

No,

It's not.

Faye said,

Hmm,

Me thinks you have a fear of getting married.

Cherry said,

Oh,

Let me guess,

To an handsome prince.

Yeah,

I do have a fear of that,

Because I can't think of anything more boring in my entire world,

So no,

But yeah,

But no,

It's not that,

Faye,

But good guess,

Good guess.

Heidi said,

Hmm,

Are we supposed to be guessing?

Cherry said,

No,

Not really,

But this is fun.

Heidi said,

Okay,

Then,

Hmm,

How about a fear of the wind?

Cherry said,

Oh,

You do know me well,

I don't like the wind sometimes,

Especially if it sounds like it's talking.

You know,

Sometimes when you're outside and there's like this really like,

You know,

Um,

I don't know,

Like,

It just sounds like they're going,

Hello,

Cherry,

Cherry,

Hello,

And I go,

Oh,

No,

OMG,

What was that?

And it wasn't anything.

It was just my imagination,

Because it's imagination awesome,

That was doing it,

But it wasn't,

It was the wind.

So,

No,

Anyway,

No,

No,

Listen,

Everyone,

Listen,

This is my fear.

Just as Cherry was about to say her fear,

Arthur and Benny bounced into the circle to join everyone,

And Cherry jumped a little bit.

Jed said,

You're not afraid of guinea pigs,

Are you,

Cherry?

Cherry said,

Hmm,

Yeah,

I am,

But I'm not afraid of,

Like,

I'm not afraid of Benny,

And I'm not afraid of Arthur,

As they are,

Because they're so sweet,

Well,

They're not that sweet,

Because they might bite you,

But they're sweet looking,

And they're so fluffy and everything,

And yeah,

I can see what you like about them,

Jed,

I can see it,

But,

You know,

If I really think about it,

I have this really strange fear.

I have this fear that if they get rained on,

Now,

Don't laugh,

Anyone,

If they get rained on,

They go really big,

Like,

They grow,

They grow like,

Like,

Like,

You know,

Like a chia pet grows when you water it,

Guinea pigs grow,

And they grow,

And they grow really big,

Really,

Really big,

I mean,

Like giants,

Like dinosaur big,

And then when they get that big,

They bite,

Right,

And they could just chomp you up and eat you,

Like a french fry in two bites,

And you'd be like,

OMG,

This guinea pig's enormous,

Once Benny was so sweet,

Now look at him,

He's Benny the killer guinea pig,

And you'd be like,

Running around outside going,

Please don't eat me,

Benny,

Please don't eat me,

Arthur,

Oh my gosh,

You're so big and scary.

Everyone started laughing,

Heidi laughed,

Vea laughed,

The boys all laughed,

Everyone laughed,

Cherry said,

I said,

Don't laugh,

Kale said,

I can understand that fear,

That would be really scary,

Even though it's funny,

Cherry,

It would be scary,

Cherry said,

Yeah,

I know it's funny,

And yeah,

Is it ever gonna happen,

Who knows,

But let me ask you this,

Jed,

Let me ask you this,

Has your guinea pigs ever got rained on?

Because if they haven't,

How do you know?

How do you know that if it rains,

And the guinea pigs get raindrops on them,

That they don't grow like Chia Pet grow,

And like,

Get really big and get really scary,

And the teeth get even bigger than they are,

And they look like really pointy,

Scary teeth,

And they're gonna chop,

Chop,

Chop,

Chop,

Chop,

Like they could just chomp through a tree in two seconds,

And if they could chomp through a tree in two seconds,

Can you imagine how fast they'd bite through a cat,

Like,

They wouldn't even have to think about it,

Would they,

It'd be like chomp,

That's it,

Cherry's in off,

Chomp,

Faye's in off,

Chomp,

Heidi's in off,

Chomp,

Double chomp,

Uh,

Uh,

Eden's in off,

Double chomp,

Micah's in off,

Double,

Double chomp,

Kale's in off,

That's it,

And then,

You know what,

We're all in off,

Except for Jed,

Because they like Jed,

Because they're Jed's guinea pigs,

I don't think it's fair,

But that's the way it would go,

That's the way it's going down,

Guys,

If it rains tonight,

And those guinea pigs get wet,

Just saying,

Everyone again started laughing,

Because it was ridiculous,

Of course,

If it rains on guinea pigs,

They don't grow the size of a dinosaur,

Of course,

They wouldn't bite you and chomp you in half,

But this was a legitimate fear of Cherry's,

And really,

You shouldn't laugh at people's fears,

Because,

You know,

Sometimes,

They can't help themselves,

They decided that it was actually a good idea,

And they went around the room,

And told everyone about each of their fears,

Then it got late,

And then they all decided it was time to go to sleep,

But unfortunately,

It started raining outside,

Cherry was not happy,

OMG,

Told you,

I told you,

I knew it,

As soon as I said my fear out loud,

It was gonna come true,

And look what's happening,

It's,

It's raining outside,

Heidi,

I want to go home,

I don't want to stay over anymore,

I love you guys and everything,

But,

You know,

I don't think it's wise,

Jed said,

Cherry,

My guinea pigs won't hurt you,

And they won't get wet,

We won't let them go outside,

Cherry said,

Are you sure,

Jed,

Are you sure,

Jed said,

Yes,

I'm sure,

Cherry eventually settled down,

They all got snuggly,

As if they were going to go to sleep,

It started really,

Really raining outside,

Sometimes it even lightened and thundered,

It was like a proper rainstorm,

But Cherry thought,

It's okay,

I'm safe,

Everyone's around,

All of my pals are here,

All of my friends will keep me safe,

But then,

She fell asleep,

She had the worst guinea pig nightmare,

She was stuck in the forest,

It was raining,

Thundering,

Lightning,

Cracking through the sky,

The lightning kept bouncing off different trees and setting them on fire,

And it was so scary,

She didn't know what to do,

She didn't know where to run,

Where to be,

Where to hide,

Then,

All of a sudden,

She could hear coming through the trees,

In the pitch black,

Except for when the lightning struck in the sky,

And it lit the whole forest up,

She was all alone,

But she could hear,

Gong,

Gong,

Gong,

Like the biggest,

Giantest footsteps,

Crashing down on the forest,

And bursting trees,

And bushes,

And things underneath,

Its feet,

Whatever it was,

It sounded definitely like footsteps coming towards her,

She just froze,

She was shaking,

It was so scary,

And she kept shouting,

Heidi,

Help,

Help,

But no one could hear her,

It was one of those nightmares where you scream,

But no sound comes out,

It was awful,

And then,

The lightning struck,

And there was Benny and Arthur,

Giant,

As big as dinosaurs,

Coming towards her,

Getting closer and closer,

And it was one of those dreams again,

Those nightmares where you can't run,

You feel like you're running in quicksand,

And you're not getting anywhere,

And she was running,

And she was running,

And nothing was moving,

And nothing was changing,

And she just couldn't run,

And move,

And it was just horrible,

It was terrifying,

And she was just about to pee her little pants,

When Benny and Arthur,

The giant,

Scary guinea pigs said,

Hi Cherry,

Do you want to play Uno?

Cherry opened her eyes,

In a dream,

Still,

A horrible guinea pig nightmare,

Opened her eyes wide,

Opened her mouth,

And said,

What?

Benny said again,

Do you want to play Uno?

We're so bored,

And it's cold,

We thought if we played Uno,

Then,

Um,

You know,

It'd take us mind off it,

We'd be distracted,

And we love you Cherry,

You're like our bestest friend.

Cherry said,

Oof,

OMG guys,

I was so scared,

And then she coughed,

And woke up,

Realised that she was having a guinea pig nightmare,

Looked around the room,

Benny and Arthur were just happily playing in their cage,

Doing their normal thing,

Being their normal size,

Being very lovable and furry,

And not scary at all.

Cherry had to giggle to herself,

That was the weirdest,

Scariest,

But then nicest,

Nightmare she'd ever had.

She couldn't wait to tell everyone about it in the morning,

It was so real,

So real.

She closed her eyes,

And went back to sleep,

Along with everyone else,

And ended up having a really good sleepover.

Loved it as always I’ve always wanted a Guinea pig or hamster but I have two dogs already so I’m good 🙂 anyway good night or day whatever your reading this message just know that thirs love in the air

I loved it I would be scary to have big guinea pigs chasing you!! Also you should do one where they are doing a white elephant gift exchange with some friends!!

I have 4 mice, 4 Guinea pigs, 3 cats, 1 snake and 1 turtle. one of my mice gave birth to 3 other mice, the father got put up for sale, the baby's names are Milie, Cloe and Briana, the mums name is Sia. My Guinea pigs the same thing happened. so the baby's names are Hidie, Cherry and Veya, the mums name is Becky. The same thing happened with the cats, the mums name is Gorgie, the baby's are twins, 1 a boy named Bob, 1 a girl named Sophia.the snake is called Ivy, the turtle is called Ocean. Now, I know you are going to laugh at my fear. I don't want to say it! I am scared of the dark.

Now I am going to continue my story.

Chapter 3: Moving

The next day was Christmas, and Wilow, Mia and Ruby where having a sleepover. They where all getting ready for bed. They got in there sleeping bags and fell asleep right away. Willow had woken up, and woke the others up to look in there stockings and look how many presents there where. The next day they where screaming for joy! They had already opened there stockings and where getting ready to open presents. But when Willow was walking towards the Christmas tree she tried over her shoelace and hit her elbow on the Christmas tree, and then the Christmas tree fell over and hit Ruby other head, then Ruby fell over and knocked Mia over and then the TV fell over wich turned the radio on! The news was playing on the radio, and the radio said " A young 13 year old boy called Tom walked leaning on his balcony and the balcony fell and Tom got very injured, Tom is now laying Ina bed in hospital, his injuries may stop him from walking including loosing couple teeth wich will stop him from talking." As the girls stared at Mia's dad they saw him packing all the stuff. Mia asked " What are you doing?" Mias dad replied " We're moving tomorrow." Mia started to cry as she ran to her room. The next day she was still in her room, Ruby and Willow came in and said " Are you okay?" As Mia came out of her room they didn't hear a word from her. As Ruby's dad and Willows dad picked them up, Mia was going to her new house.
