This Awesome, Fun Bedtime Story For Kids is about The cats and Cherry getting her nails cut. Cherry is so funny. She has some crazy ideas of what she can use her chopped toenails for! Are you ready to meditate with Kori?

Make sure that you're laying in your bed,

Your body's nice and relaxed.

You've got your comfortable pajamas on,

You brushed your teeth and all is good in the world so that you can snuggle and cuggle and listen to a story.

Heidi,

Cherry and Veya were having a whale of a time.

Cherry was on one.

She was in a very silly mood.

Most of the time Cherry's in a silly mood but today she was in a very very funny silly mood.

Heidi was trying to cut Cherry's toenails,

Her claws,

Her paw nails but we'll call them toenails.

Cherry never liked it because it really really tickled so every time Heidi tried to cut one of her toenails she would just get hysterical and laugh and laugh till she cried and laugh till she peed herself.

She just laughed and laughed and laughed and it was a very long drawn-out ordeal and all she was doing was cutting her toenails.

Veya had decided that she would stroke the opposite paw of Cherry's very calmly and gently and Heidi would try an attempt to cut one of the toenails on the other paw while she was distracted by what Veya was doing.

Veya was talking in her most softest nicest relaxing voice.

There we go.

You just relax Cherry.

Everything is just fine.

It will all be done very soon and it's all in your head.

It doesn't really tickle.

Well Cherry started laughing because just at that moment Heidi cut one of her nails.

It does tickle.

It tickles way too much.

It tickles me so much and and you know you saying in a meditation voice that it doesn't tickle makes you want to just think about how much it tickles.

Veya said hmm oh yes that's right I'd not thought about that.

That's like saying don't think about how sour lemons are and then all you can do is think about how sour lemons are.

Cherry said yeah right exactly.

OMG OMG OMG stop Heidi stop give me a break give me a break.

I'm gonna pee myself again.

It tickles so bad.

You know what I want to do though I do have plans for these toenails.

I've got some brilliant ideas so when we do eventually get this all done and dusted and my toenails look so nice and short and like not like killer long daggers or anything then I'm gonna do some awesome stuff.

I've got it all planned out.

I was thinking about it last night.

I wrote a couple of really good ideas down because you know my toenails they're so hard.

Heidi said they are.

They're like the hardest nails I've ever had to cut.

I don't know why they're so hard Cherry.

They're like 10 million times harder than Veya's and 20 million times harder than mine.

I've got really thin toenails.

Cherry said I know you know what I think it is.

I think it's because I'm so awesome.

You know when you're awesome and you really brain it and you really really smart like a genius then you have these like weird quirks don't you.

You know like you know like what's he called now the one with crazy hair.

You know the one that like had all those really good ideas.

You know the one that would be like if he was alive now and he was on short tank he'd be like a billionaire because he has so many good ideas.

What's it called?

You know the one I mean he's old and he's got gray hair.

Heidi said are you thinking about Einstein?

Yes I like him.

Einstein's baked beans.

That's what I always think about when I think of Einstein.

I always remember him but I didn't this time did I?

But normally I remember his names by thinking of Einstein's baked beans.

I love Einstein's baked beans.

You know some people like Einstein's baked beans and some people like HP beans and and you know when we go to England and you get all those different types of baked beans and then you have some horrible baked beans and you're like oh these are just disgusting.

Are you supposed to have nice beans on toast if you have really horrible baked beans?

You got to have Einstein's baked beans if you're in my club.

I'm in the Einstein's baked beans club.

Hi did you remember which baked beans you liked when we went to visit in England?

Heidi said I like Baxter's.

No said Cherry.

No way they're way too thick and clumpy.

Don't like those ones.

Einstein's baked beans have got just enough juice and they're just perfect for beans on toast because then you can dip your toast in them.

Those Bachelorette 1 thingies.

Those ones are so thick that they were just like a slop on your plate.

No don't like those.

Faya do you remember which baked beans you like?

I think I like the Heinz ones better too.

See Faya you're smart like me.

You're genius like Heinz beans.

I mean Einstein.

Anyway yeah what was I saying?

Oh right yeah so I think if you're a genius like Einstein or like me.

I mean Heidi I know you're like super smart and everything and you're a genius in a different way but I'm literally like a genius in all different ways and you know when you're genius you have like quirky hair.

I don't really have quirky hair but I have really really big thick toenails.

So I was thinking genius that's me.

What would you do with your toenails if you had a genius idea like your friend you know Heinz Heinz beans and I was like I know what I'm gonna do but I can't tell you about it because it'll spoil it.

I'm gonna show you what I'm gonna do when I'm all done.

How many toes do I have left?

Heidi said we have three left.

Oh thank goodness gracious me.

Right well are you gonna strike me Faya because because if I know she's gonna do a toenail I'm gonna start laughing and I'm gonna start peeing and I've already peed so much.

Luckily I'm not sat on my pillow I'm sat on yours.

No I'm just kidding I didn't pee really but I felt like I was gonna pee.

I felt like I'm gonna pee you know when you're just on the verge and you're like oh oh.

You know sometimes when you're sleeping in the middle of the night right and you're dreaming about being on a toilet and you're like finally I'm on a toilet I can pee and then this weird feeling comes and you're like but can I really?

No I can't because I'm in bed and if I pee right now I'm gonna wet my bed.

Sometimes that happens don't it and you're like how did I do that?

But then you crazy dreams they're so sneaky those dreams like the dreams fit into what you're thinking about or what's happening in the other world like I remember one time right we stepped over at a friend's house do you remember that friend's house that had that really loud clock on the wall and it was ticking and ticking and ticking and ticking and every time I fell asleep I was dreaming about things that were ticking like I got like I was in this house and this clock was ticking it was an old grandfather clock and inside of the clock was a ghost and I was so scared and the tick tick tick and then all of a sudden the clock stopped ticking and I was like OMG and then I woke up and then the clock in the wall was ticking ticking ticking ticking and I was like gosh this this this bedroom so scary don't like sleeping here I don't think I've slept at that friend's house ever since because that clock so loud anyway it's the same when you need to pee don't you think?

Heidi said yeah that's happened to me sometimes I must admit sometimes you think that you're actually dreaming that you're on a toilet and you can pee but really you can't pee Jerry said yeah exactly do you ever do that Veya?

Veya said no but I do sometimes dream that I am like choking on something and then all of a sudden I wake up coughing and really it was just me that needed to cough but in my dream I made the coughing to some kind of choking scene.

Jerry said oh that's a bit weird just kidding just kidding Veya I know right exactly that's what I think anyway so what was I saying?

Heidi said you finished you're all done.

I didn't even notice them last three good job Heidi good job right gather them up gather them up I want all all err wait a minute how many have I got?

I don't know how many I've got I can't remember but gather them all up because I know some of them pinged across the room they were so so so thick that when you cut them it just went flying and I was like dodging him I was dodging my own toenails yeah so gather them up and I won't be a minute I'm gonna go and do my first trick Heidi and Veya sat and waited while Cherry disappeared with her toenails her cat claws but we're calling them toenails and then she came back and she looked very very funny she got double-sided sticky tape and stuck the claws like the toenails so they looked like hairs of an eyebrow but really they were her toenails so her toenail clippings had been shaped like eyebrows and she stuck them on her own eyebrows so she had this really bushy looking eyebrows that weren't eyebrows at all they were toenail clippings look at this said Cherry genius genius or what oh have you ever known ever in the entire world that eyebrows made out toenails Heidi and Veya looked at each other a little bit shocked they didn't quite know what to say Heidi then all of a sudden couldn't help herself and started laughing Veya kept herself together and said hmm that that is quite a fetching look and then she couldn't help herself and started laughing Cherry said what you guys laughing at I am so serious I think this could be like the next nexty snack you know like fashion fashion thing it could be oh I could be in vogue guys I could be in vogue I bet you any money if I get on my tiki-toki with these eyebrows and show the world toenail eyebrows they will get so popular because I'm so popular do you know I have so many tiki-toki friends now I have like 10 million billion tiki-toki friends Heidi said I thought you had 200 cherry said yeah right exactly that's like 10 billion and you know all of those 10 billion tiki-toki friends are gonna go wow why did I think of that and then everyone in the in the entire world human people animal people like plant people whoever alien people aliens it's gonna get that famous right my toenail eyebrows gonna get that famous that aliens are gonna come to the planet and they're gonna go wow what a good look and they're gonna be walking around with double-sided sticky tape with the toenails if they have toes stuck on them oh my gosh I think it's so cool and watch this cherry started frantically moving her own eyebrows up and down underneath the stuck on toenail eyebrows which made the stuck on toenail eyebrows go up and down really really fast which looked super hilarious he's awesome look at him they're so expressive Heidi,

Cherry and Veir are all cracked out laughing at the same time and cherry pulled her eyebrows off I do think it's a really good idea and I do think it's gonna get tiki-toki famous you know all you have to do is just put it out there and be unique I am unique guys I am so unique anyway this is my next idea I have to disappear again I won't be a minute I won't be a minute you know what I am so glad I have got so much carrot in tins in my nails Heidi said what what what did you just say cherry said what Heidi said no what did you say you had in your nails cherry said carrot in tins you know carrots in tins like tins of carrots that you can buy in the supermarket Heidi said it's not called carrot in tins you have something in your nails called carrot in carrot in that's what's in your nails not carrots in tins I thought it were carrots in tins I like my idea better so much oh so funny anyway yeah me carrot in my tins they're so cool anyway listen listen listen I'm gonna go make me next adventure not me adventure me invention I'm gonna go make me next invention I won't be a minute cherry disappeared again this time she took a little bit more time because she had to peel off all of her nails off the double-sided sticky tape to do her next idea and then when she was making her next idea she realized she probably could have used them on the double-sided sticky tape and just balled them up for what she needed but she didn't realize that so what she did was she got a big giant piece of duct tape and then she rolled it up into a ball and then she stuck her toenails all over the duct tape and then she stuck the ball with the toenails on it on a stick and then she came out into the living room and said this is it this is my next invention and then she took the stick with the ball of duct tape and her toenails on it and started scratching her back with it it's me own back scratcher how cool is this Heidi said cherry you really are a genius they are said oh I think me likes this one better definitely such a good idea but the problem was every time cherry scratched her back with the back scratcher when she pulled it back around she got clumps of her own first took on the duct tape because the duct tape stickiness was so strong that it kept pulling out all of her fur but at the same time it felt really good because she was scratching her back so she was scratching her back with the back scratcher not realizing that the back scratcher was taking big chunks of her fur out at the same time she just thought that maybe the back scratcher was a little bit aggressive and she had to scratch softer but when she pulled it round again to show Heidi and Veya she got half of her back stuck on the back scratcher so now it just looked like a big ball of ginger fur stuck mixed with toenails little toenails sticking through the fur and it looked really really funny everyone rolled around on the floor laughing cherry said OMG guys I really am gonna pee myself this time I don't think that idea is gonna work is it I'm a bold I'm a bold and she moved around so Heidi and Veya could see her back she wasn't bald luckily the back scratcher just took off all of her loose fur or excess fur that would have probably fell out anyway so she didn't have any bold patches on her back but OMG they had so much fun cherry said you know what if I'd have if I'd have if I if I had a painting my nails before you cut some bright orange for Halloween I could have had like bright orange toenails and that would have been awesome because then when I cut them I could have had like you know Halloween themed back scratcher and I could have had bright orange Halloween eyebrows genius I'm such a genius OMG I think me me and and Heinz Beans my Einstein genius friend would have been such good friends won't we Heidi we would have been such good friends Heidi said you definitely are a genius and yes I think you would have been really good friends with Einstein if he was around these days eventually the cats got tired they went and brushed their teeth but on the comfortable pajamas they hopped into their big soft comfortable bed snuggled down together and fell fast asleep the end you you you you

Sapphire leapt through a hoop, me patting her neck, and also firmly grasping the reins. I slowed her to a halt, unmounting her. “I think we’re ready.” I say to her. She neighs and bows her head. “Come on.” I mount her, heading out the gates (oh yeah schools over) , and glancing at the hill. We start for the hill, coming to the top of it. It’s REALLY high. I gulped. Where we were going was x40 times this. We headed towards our destination. Fate was calling. We galloped down the hill, going up the next, and climbing stairs designed for horses.
