Good morning my beautiful friend.
Yes,
It's that time once again.
Are you ready to do your morning meditation with me?
It's okay if you're not fully awake yet.
And it's okay if you're still sleepy.
You can even have just one eye open,
As long as you make it safely to your meditation pillow.
Now that you're there,
Straighten your spine.
Take a big deep breath in and see if you can wake yourself up a little bit.
Breathe in all the way down to the base of your tummy.
Breathe out and see if you can let go of a nice big sigh.
Let go of a few of those cobwebs from last night.
Light your candle.
Start your incense burning.
Breathe in nice and deep and let the aroma of your incense or your candle start to wake you up a little bit.
Take a moment to just stretch your neck.
Bring some blood into that place around your head.
So stretch your neck gently.
First down to the left,
Down towards your left shoulder.
Back up gently and slowly and stretch it over to the right,
Down towards your right shoulder.
Again,
Back over to your left,
Bringing some fresh blood and new energy into that part of your body.
Back over to the right shoulder,
Slowly,
Gently.
And then bring your head back into the center.
Open your eyes just a little bit more.
Take another big deep breath in and smell the aroma.
That smell that makes you know you're doing your meditation.
Okay,
Now we're good.
Reach for your journal and pick up your pen.
Take a moment to just go inside and feel out your body.
Feel out your state of mind.
Think about your day.
Yes,
Yes,
Yes,
I know you've got 10 million things to do today,
But don't think about those right now.
Think about starting your day off right with me.
What's one thing,
One thing this morning that you feel good about?
One thing in your life that you're grateful for?
What's that one thing we're going to write down today that's going to make you feel good for just this next few moments?
What's good in my world right now?
Go ahead and write it down when you're ready.
Keep it simple.
Keep it sweet and make it feel real.
We don't fake it here in this meditation.
Think of something that you're truly grateful for.
It could be the awesome color of your toenails.
It could be that your back feels nice and strong today.
Keep it simple and keep it real.
Beautiful.
There you go.
Starting your day with that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
Now the rest of the day is up to you.
Close your journal,
Put your pen down next to you.
Let's think about how you can make your day as happy as it possibly can today.
For one,
We're not going to get pulled into anybody's drama.
The second thing is we're going to pause before we speak about something that could possibly trigger us in the wrong direction.
We're going to smile today as much as we possibly can about the tiniest things and the biggest,
Funniest,
Hilarious things.
And lastly,
We're going to keep it real.
We're going to be kind and we're going to have a bloody good day.
Close your eyes just for a moment.
Let's take three nice,
Long,
Slow,
Deep breaths together.
Be present in every moment of your breath.
Let's see if we can just calm our mind.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Inhale,
Exhale.
You can open your eyes,
Blow out your candle,
Put your journal away until tomorrow and meet me right back here all over again.
Now go change the world.
Namaste,
My friend.
