Hi,
My name is Kori and in this meditation today,
We're going to wake up your third eye.
I'm going to teach you a really simple,
Easy way to activate the third eye.
It involves using your imagination.
I found over the years that your imagination is like the beginning turn on,
The little switch that you need to activate your inner sight.
So get comfortable and I'll walk you through the exercise.
You can lay down or you can be seated.
Either way,
Be still.
Close down your eyes and bring your attention to the space there in the middle of your forehead.
Using your physical eyes,
Stare up into the middle of your forehead as if you're staring up into that space.
Don't strain your eyes too much,
Just look up slightly even though your eyes are closed.
Do it just to the point where you feel like your eyes are pulling just a little bit.
Don't strain them too much.
Using your imagination,
As you look into that dark space there in front of you,
Imagine that you're standing in front of your front door.
You do this all the time so it's perfect for this exercise.
Seeing your mind's eye that you've just walked up to your front door,
You notice the colour of your front door.
You look around your door and notice the walls around your door,
The colours,
The textures.
Bringing all the details back by using your memory.
Looking down at the ground,
You notice your feet.
You know whether there's normally a mat there on the ground in front of your front door or whether it's just cement or stoned.
Bring all the details back into your mind right now.
As much as you can recall,
Look to where you normally open your door with the door handle or a doorknob,
The colour,
The size,
The texture.
Maybe you have panels on your door or there's a window in your door.
Notice as you look into these memories where the sight is coming from.
It doesn't come from the front of your forehead,
Does it?
The sight actually feels like it's coming from the back of your head,
As if you're standing back there and you're staring out looking at your door.
The black doesn't disappear,
But the picture appears in the blackness.
Can you see that?
This is what it looks like and feels like to use your inner sight when you use it in a meditation,
When you daydream,
When you sleep at night and dream.
This is what it actually looks like.
That blackness never goes away,
It's just overlaid with the vision of what your mind is creating and projecting through your inner sight.
It's like two different worlds existing in the same vision.
And now that you know that you can do it,
You can activate your third eye at any time.
Incorporate your imagination so that your mind thinks of something and then your vision will follow the thoughts.
If your mind thinks of more detail,
Your vision will see more detail.
And then eventually,
This is taken over by some automatic response inside of your mind that starts to show you things you don't even think about through your third eye.
And that's when it starts to feel more natural.
But at first,
Activate your third eye by using visions from your memory,
Just like this.
That's it.
Simple.
Namaste,
My friend.
