This meditation is the simple and direct practice of focusing entirely on the sensations of breathing and discovering the profound peace that arises. This meditation is focused and attentive, bringing the listener repeatedly to the pure, raw sensations of the breath rising and falling, this encourages 10 minutes of total serenity. With attention focused solely on the breath the mind cannot begin it’s usual chatter and noise. The mind ordinarily wishes to find some alternative object of distraction but through this firm yet gentle guidance the mind does not have the opportunity to pull you into it’s usual narratives. This practice remains one-pointed in approach, never wavering from the simplicity and immediacy of the breath. The astonishing relief and powerful peace that arises happens because of this very simplicity, laying conscious awareness bare and open in the totality of the experience of the breath alone.
