Hello there.
To start,
I'll encourage you to dive right in,
Closing your eyes,
Bringing to your mind's view,
The most beautiful beach,
And perhaps if you are so lucky to do so,
You might actually utilize this meditation at an actual beach when you get the chance.
Either way,
Start to feel the sand beneath your feet,
Grounding yourself in this present moment.
Notice everything that makes this particular beach soothing,
Warm,
Peaceful.
Taking in those deep breaths of the ocean air.
Feeling your lungs.
Exhaling just as deeply.
Releasing any tension.
As you stand or lie on this beach,
I invite you to think about the following statement.
I thought I would be.
I thought I would be.
I thought I would be.
Allow any thoughts or expectations about your life,
Goals,
Or progress to surface.
Acknowledge these thoughts without judgment.
Understanding our shared humanity.
In having expectations and desires.
See if you can visualize yourself embracing these parts of you.
Longing for some satisfaction or fulfillment or anything else that's surfacing now.
Shift your focus when you can to the gentle rhythm of the waves.
Noticing how this repetitive rhythm doesn't seem to suggest anything significant.
And yet so much movement and activity lies underneath the surface.
Trust in a similar way that in this very moment,
That every day and week ahead,
Growth is taking place.
Even if it's not always visible.
Attune to the parts of you that this resonates with.
And support the parts that might need a little more time.
See what happens in your body as you repeat the affirmation.
I support and trust myself in this journey of growth and healing.
I support and trust myself in this journey of growth and healing.
Notice a sense of warmth and compassion for yourself.
Knowing that you are doing your best.
Take a few more deep breaths.
Spend as much time as you need on this beach.
Soaking in the warmth of the sun.
Listening to the waves of the ocean.
Gradually returning back to the room and the space you are in.
And taking this sensation with you.
This refreshment and support into the rest of your day.
Thank you for your practice.
