Imagine you’re on a sunny beach, holding a toy boat filled with your worries and fears. Gently place the boat on the water and watch as it floats away, taking your heavy feelings with it. Feel lighter and happier as you enjoy the peaceful waves.

Hello everyone.

Welcome to this meditation.

First,

Let's find a cozy spot where you can sit comfortably.

Bring whatever you need to feel extra comfy.

Maybe a soft blanket or a nice fuzzy stuffed animal.

Whatever helps you settle in for the next few moments,

Bring it with you.

And then see if you're ready to close your eyes,

Noticing your breath.

Imagining yourself traveling with your breath throughout your body.

Like the wind.

Notice it moving throughout your body,

Keeping you comfortable,

Keeping you at peace.

Notice how you feel so much more cozy.

And then start to imagine in your mind that you're on a sunny beach with soft sand under your feet.

The ocean waves are gentle and calming.

In your hand you hold a small toy boat.

This boat carries all the heavy feelings you might have.

Feelings like worries,

Fears,

Or sadness.

Feel the weight of the boat and think about those heavy feelings for a moment.

Put those feelings on the boat.

Now gently place the toy boat on the water and watch it start to float away.

As it drifts further out to sea,

Imagine all your heavy feelings floating away with it.

The boat gets smaller and smaller until it's out of sight.

Feel the lightness and happiness fill your heart as those heavy feelings disappear.

Stay in this happy place for a little while,

Enjoying the peace and calm.

Notice the warmth of the sun on your face.

All the peaceful noises and sounds of the beach around you.

When you're ready,

You can open your eyes again.

Notice how your body feels now.

And bring this light,

Happy feeling with you for the rest of your day.
