Welcome.
Just start by taking a really deep breath in all the way to the bottom of your lungs.
And then let it out.
And continue to breathe at your own pace.
Settle into your body.
And listen to the sounds that surround you,
Surround me,
Surround us.
And continue to focus on your breath.
Feel your inhale expanding your chest and your abdomen.
And your exhale releasing your breath,
Your belly falling back towards your spine.
Notice your chest expanding,
Your ribs expanding.
Fill your lungs as full as you can until you can't get any more air in there.
And then let it all out slowly,
Steadily.
And get to the point where you need to force the air out of your lungs until you can't get any more out and then fill back up again.
Let it out.
And just notice how your body starts to relax naturally from the deep breaths.
Let go of your to-do list.
Just be right here with me.
Nothing on your mind but relaxation and meditation.
Continue to breathe deeply and slowly.
Notice any areas in you that may be tense.
And bring your attention to these areas one at a time.
I've more recently been introduced to the fact that we are not humans here trying to have a spiritual experience.
We are spirits here trying to have a human experience.
So this tension,
Pain,
Fatigue,
Whatever you feel in your body,
This is what you are seeking.
This is your body communicating with you.
If you ever think of those times when you have aha moments,
I mean literally aha,
Life changing,
You think,
Oh,
Things cannot be the same tomorrow.
I have figured this shit out.
And then tomorrow it's still the same.
That is because it takes time for the body.
The mind,
It already knows.
The spirit,
It already knows.
What does it look like to slow down the growth of your consciousness and start to become aware of the experience you are having in your body with your body?
Notice what is speaking to you.
Become aware of how you feel.
Don't think about your next aha.
Start to recognize more in your body.
Let go of trying to move past anything or do this right.
Simply take this time to notice how you feel,
How your body feels.
It's not I am hand.
It's your hand.
Let go of expectation.
Notice how it feels to sit.
Notice how you feel.
Tune in to your senses.
Your eyes are closed,
Hopefully.
What does it look like behind your eyelids?
What light is making its way through that thin,
Those thin pieces of flesh?
Do you notice the experience of blinking even though your eyes are closed?
What do you feel?
Feel the ground below you,
The pressure points that touch the ground or the chair that you are sitting in.
If you are laying,
Feel all of the pressure points at the back of your head,
Your shoulder blades,
Your coccyx,
The heels.
Sitting,
Feel your arm touching the ground,
The ankle bones.
Sitting in a chair,
Feel what is touching the chair.
Feel the breeze if there is any on your skin,
The temperature of the air around you.
What it feels like depending on how you are situated,
If your legs are crossed,
To feel them touching.
If your feet are touching the floor,
Feel that.
If your fingers are interlocked,
Feel that mudra.
Just notice and feel your body.
Is there any smell around you?
Do you have incense going?
Are there smells from your body,
Whether natural or deodorant,
Perfume?
Is someone cooking in your home?
And what are the sounds?
Listen to the sounds around you,
In the room you are in and outside of the room you are in.
Notice if you can hear any sounds around me,
The crackle of a fire,
The water,
The wind on the microphone.
And what do you taste on your mouth?
What was the last thing you ate or drink?
And do you notice how you start to salivate just by thinking of your mouth?
Bring into this moment all of your senses,
Your entire experience.
Return to your breath.
Stay in here as long as you choose.
