Find a comfortable seat or lay down,
Getting yourself really nice and comfy.
Then roll your shoulders down your spine and allow your arms to rest in your lap or on the ground beside you.
Take a really deep breath in all the way to the bottom of your lungs.
And then let it all out.
Continue to breathe deeply at your own pace,
Inhaling and filling up your belly and your chest.
And exhaling and letting it all out.
Feel yourself completely connected to the ground below you.
Feel the ground strong and stable.
Feel the ground as the earth.
And feel your connection to the earth.
Feel like roots coming from out of you,
Breaking through the surface below you,
Making their way all the way down to the earth.
Breaking through the crust of the earth,
Continuing through the bedrock and the debris,
All the way down to the center of the earth.
As you are connected to the earth,
You are connected to nature.
The main color in nature is green.
The same color as the center of your heart.
Your heart chakra.
Feel your heart open and expand as green,
The same color as the trees and the grass and the brush around you.
Feel yourself supported by the earth and your heart connected to nature.
Your heart opening and expanding.
You feeling completely supported and grounded and strong and stable.
Connected.
Take in the sound of the drums,
The sound of song.
Feel yourself connected to the people around you,
To your family,
To your community.
Feel grateful to the earth,
To nature,
To those around you.
Grateful for the connection to all of those things.
The connection that gives you strength to continue to move forward.
The stable ground that is there no matter the support systems at home,
No matter the way you're feeling.
Stable ground always beneath your feet to propel you forward on your path.
To support you in consistent and perpetual motion.
To support you in always moving forward.
Inhale strength,
Love,
Connection,
And exhale anything that no longer serves you.
Exhale tension.
Feeling strong,
Connected,
Moving forward always as you continue about your day.
