Hello and welcome!

Today we're going to take some time to talk about acceptance.

Of course,

It is easy to accept things when everything's happening the way we want,

So the challenge is to work on accepting things when everything seems to be going the opposite direction of what we want.

So I'm going to start asking you some questions that you should ask yourself.

Do you accept things the way they are?

How do you deal with situations that are not what you wanted them to be?

Do you flow easy with life?

So the point here is to bring to mind situations in which you actually felt difficult to accept.

I think the situations can vary from people to people.

Some people can get fired and this is not something that they worry so much about,

While other people can be like the end of the world for them.

Or some people can go through a moment of losing someone they love and I don't know,

Maybe deep down they knew this was already going to happen,

So it's not so challenging for them,

While for other people it is very,

Very difficult.

In my opinion,

Accepting things as they are,

Especially when things are not going the way you want them to go,

It is one of the most challenging things in life.

Whenever this happens to me,

When I'm going through a breakup or grieving someone's lost,

When something like that's happening,

I always bring to mind a situation that happened a few years ago,

I remember very clearly and this has been very,

Very interesting to remember every time that something like that happens to me and I'm going to share this now with you.

So a few years ago,

I was in my godfather's house and he was with his son.

And the moment he had,

The son had around two years old or less than that and he was walking around and touching stuff as all kids do and he tried to touch an outlet and immediately my godfather got up and pick him up,

Put him in his arms and was like,

No,

No,

No,

You cannot play with that,

That's dangerous for you.

And this kid just went into this full tantrum,

He was just crying so much and screaming and like,

I want to play with that.

He didn't speak so much at the time,

But he was screaming a lot and crying like lots of tears,

You know,

Real tears,

You could feel that he was very,

Very upset with the situation and my godfather always hold him in his arms and just like trying to soothe him saying,

It's fine,

I know,

I know you're upset,

But this is good for you,

It's for your best.

And I remember seeing that scene and thinking,

Wow,

He doesn't know,

The kid doesn't know that that is for his best,

He doesn't know that it's for his best interest,

You know,

Even in that moment when my godfather was holding him in his arms,

He was trying to leave his arms and although he was doing it with all the love and compassion,

He was just screaming and trying to leave and he was extremely upset.

And until this day,

Whenever I'm in a situation that I get myself really confronting and not accepting,

I remember this scene,

You know,

And I,

Because in that moment,

The thought that I had was like,

We know,

We know that everything that happens in our life is for our best.

Maybe it is a father or mother or a higher self image that we have,

But in my opinion,

In my life,

I can say that every time,

100% of the times that I've been in situations that were very hard,

It turns out to be something extremely good for me.

It turns out to be,

I look back in my life and I passed through so many situations and I was like,

Wow,

I needed to go through that and my life is so good now because of that.

So why is it that every time something happens that doesn't go the way I planned,

I just create so much resistance into then accepting what actually is happening,

Right?

What is life?

This is life right now.

This is what is happening.

So every time I get myself crying or angry about something not happening the way I wanted,

I always think,

Shouldn't I know this?

Shouldn't I know this by now?

Shouldn't I have learned to trust?

But at the same time,

It is an ongoing situation,

Right?

This is life.

We are here and we're constantly learning.

It's not like,

Oh,

I've been to this once and I learned and then the rest of my life,

This resistance is never coming back.

This is not true.

I think the resistance comes back,

But the more aware you are of it,

So the more easily you can snap out of the situation,

You know,

The resistance,

More easy it is for you to look at your life the way it is right now and say,

Yes,

I accept this.

This is how it is and I am happy with that.

So this is my advice for you.

I don't know if when you look back in your life,

If you're blessed,

But know that you are.

You are always being guided and protected in none of the situations you were left alone.

Trust that.

You've always been in some higher being,

God,

Self arms or whatever you believe in.

And they've always been holding you and saying,

It's okay.

It's okay.

I know you don't understand right now.

But this is for your higher benefit.

And we just have to trust to let go of our idea of what it should be like to flow with the universe.

It is challenging,

But it is beautiful to grow with life.

So this story of my Godfather and his son has helped me a lot to come back to this mindset whenever I forget and get caught up in the resistance of flowing.

So I wanted to share this with you.

I hope it will help you to go through any hard situation you might be in,

But I want to hear from you.

Let me know if you have any story,

Tips,

Prayers,

Mantra,

Or anything that helps you accepting the present moment.

Leave me a comment at the end of this audio and I will be very,

Very grateful.

To know how it is that you deal with it.

I'm going to end this audio with an affirmation that says,

I'm learning to trust the path that unfolds with every step that I take.

I'm learning to trust the path that unfolds with every step that I take.

I'm learning to trust the path that unfolds with every step that I take.

I'm grateful.
