Good morning and welcome to the meditation 5 minutes of self-love.
I'm Clara Julie and I'll be facilitating the meditations with you.
So let's start today's meditation,
Sitting or lying down,
The way that's more comfortable for you.
So that your spine is straight,
Aligned,
Eyes closed.
Now we do some deep breathings,
Inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
Now back to a natural breathing,
Inhaling and exhaling through the nose in the rhythm that is natural for your body.
Observe in what part of the body your breathing has more impact.
Use it in the lungs,
On the top of the lung,
At the bottom,
Maybe in the diaphragm,
In the belly area.
Now bring attention to the first point that you feel your breath entering your body,
The region of the nose,
The right and left nostrils.
Is there a difference in the volume of air that passes through them?
Is there any difference in the temperature of air that goes in to the air that comes in?
And taking a deep breath,
Slowly move your feet and hands.
We are thankful for this moment of self-care.
When you feel the time is right,
Open your eyes.
I live here a phrase from the poet monk Thich Nhat Hanh that says,
Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky.
Sometimes breathing is my anchor.
Good morning.
