Come to a position that is comfortable for your body.

Taking a deep breath in and a long slow exhale out.

Imagine yourself on an early morning waking up and deciding to go for a walk.

You're one of the first to arise and the sun is beginning to peak out in the sky.

You find yourself walking on a dirt path and you come close to the edge of the woods.

There's some green grass nearby inviting you to sit and soak in the warmth of the rising sun.

You feel called to lay down in the grass.

Reaching down,

A handful of rich soil crumbles in your hands.

Muladhara chakra activates.

A strong sense of calmness melting yourself as one with the earth.

Earth energy connects with your energy.

Breathing here and feeling grounded.

Feel a calling to move on and walk into the woods.

A little trail appears that you hadn't noticed before as if it was made for you on this day and in this moment.

As you walk,

You feel like you see the vibrancy of the small plants around you,

The tree roots,

The swaying of the branches.

You come across a brook and the water is gentle and you approach and you reach your fingertips into the water.

Notice the way the water moves over your hands.

It's flexible and it continues on its journey.

Feeling the water wash over your hands and it's cool and clean.

Splashing your face and neck,

You enjoy the sensation.

Sit down by the brook to contemplate the water.

Hearing small birds and creatures downstream and splashing in the water,

You wonder how much life this water has nourished.

How far has it journeyed?

Svadisthana chakra.

Your wonder,

Your creativity,

Your fluidity and flexibility.

Your desire to nourish new ideas and let them grow in their own way and time.

The sound of the brook erodes any barriers and blockages and deepens a sense of ease in your being.

With this sense of opening,

You are ready to see what else this woods has in store for you as you now begin to wonder if it is a magical forest and what else you might discover.

A little ways down,

You spot a beautiful wooden bridge.

As you approach,

You notice it is natural and made of the roots of the nearby trees.

You walk over to the bridge and admire its beauty.

You observe all the details of the intricately woven roots forming this bridge.

You slowly walk over it and as you come to the other side of the bridge,

You see a circular clearing.

Now as the morning has dwindled on,

The sun has risen higher in the sky and you feel her strength and warmth.

You stand in this clearing and with your eyes closed,

Lean your head back and feel the sun warming your heart.

The sun's radiance warms your whole body,

Activating Manipura chakra.

The connection with the sun reminds you that your own being is part of and one in the same as all the forces around you.

You recognize that you have the strength of the sun within you.

Yoga Sutra 327 Samyama on the Sun brings knowledge of deeper worlds.

Yoga Sutra 341 Mastery of the vital energy involved in gastric fire creates an aura that glows like a blazing fire.

You feel yourself alight and radiant and providing warmth around you like you have become a warm walking sun.

It is time to bring yourself forward into the forest again.

Stepping out of the clearing,

Your path forward unveils and you walk into the thickness of the trees.

The green is of the most vibrant and varied shades you've ever seen.

Lush green leaves.

Dark green of the pines.

The bright green moss,

So radiant in their colors.

You see a large oak tree that must be hundreds of years old and it has a little ledge in its trunk inviting you to sit.

You feel the energy of this wise old tree and look further at the green beauty around you.

Anahata the Heart Chakra.

Yoga Sutra 335 Samyama on the Heart leads to knowledge of consciousness.

You are filled with love for the forest and that love extends to all creatures within it and the humans and animals and plants beyond the forest in the world that seems so far away now.

You send your love,

Radiance,

Creativity,

And groundedness to all of them.

Your heart feels full and healed.

The afternoon wanes on and you walk forward listening to each crunch and step with even more openness.

You reach the opposite edge of the woods and look up into the afternoon sky.

It's magnetic blue.

See a few passing clouds.

The breeze gently rustling the trees behind you.

You give a sigh,

A little hum of a song or a chant comes to mind and you sing it.

Opening your Vishuddha Chakra,

Throat and jaw all relax.

This channel of speaking your inner being's heart and power feels alive and soothed,

Soaking in the color of the blue,

Blue sky.

Just a few meters forward,

You see that you are standing on a wide cliff and the ocean appears below you.

The waves are crashing on the rocks and the sand below.

The ocean is of a dark,

Dark blue.

You sit to watch and peering down to the ocean,

You know that what you physically see is only the surface of the depths and the connectedness of the ocean that touches everything across the world.

The sun sets,

You still feel your own inner warmth radiating.

The sky darkens,

Stars and moon appear.
