Taking a breath is necessary medicine when you feel stressed and helps you get back to what you are doing in a calm and focused approach. The challenge is to step out of the fray and take the time. This one-minute meditation takes so little time but provides a powerful impact by guiding you to focus on free-flowing expression and open listening through the imagery of clearing a traffic jam at your neck. Empower yourself to hit the reset button anytime! Music credit: Rebecca Reads Recordings

Transcript

The neck is a small two-way street that handles a superhighway volume of speaking and listening.

With that amount of traffic,

Sometimes it gets jammed.

Imagine a strong,

Steady,

Unwavering energy streaming from your hands.

Hold your hands to the sides of your neck.

You can hover or place gentle pressure.

Envision the stream of energy from your hands,

Creating space in your throat,

Clearing the jam.

Feel your jaw relax up to your ears.

Spend as much time with this as feels right to you.

Drop your hands and visualize a smooth and unobstructed two-way channel in your throat,

Listening and expressing.
