**Note: Truth does not always sound pleasant. If the mind is not really peaceful now, it might not be a perfect moment to listen to this podcast, one has to be aware of the emotions or reactions that can block one from listenING ATTENTIVELY and with HUMILITY. This talk is a meditation practice. What one needs to do is listen attentively, without getting stuck in words, examine the mind in silence, nor agree or disagree, just look at the mind as it is. Doing so is already a meditation practice.

Transcript

To understand ourselves thoroughly and deeply,

We have to observe the tendency to seek in all kinds of movies.

When the mind feels turbulent,

The mind is seeking a solution or blaming others.

If we look carefully,

Is there a difference between seeking and blaming at all?

Or actually,

The seeking and blaming is the same thing?

The mind always depends,

Always seek out of the way,

Or find a scapegoat.

The very doing so means that the mind has direction,

And the self,

The ego,

Is out of this direction from the mind.

Look at life.

The life is full of all kinds of directions,

Fragments,

All kinds of demands.

The self is very greedy,

Very active,

Very ambitious,

Wanting more and more and more.

And for most people on this planet,

Seeking in different forms becomes the whole content of life.

Life becomes super superficial,

Super shallow,

Petty,

And meaningless.

And also the mind begins to seek meaning,

Because the mind feels its meaning in the same trap.
