Psychologically,
There is no future at all.
See,
What does it imply to you now?
There is no psychological future.
What does this mean to your relation with this world?
When the mind thinks there is a psychological future,
Which is an illusion due to the self-centered activities,
The mind is seeking satisfaction from that.
The mind keeps seeking,
Keeps planning.
The mind is totally disconnected with this moment.
This psychological future is continuous all the time because thoughts are always continuous all the time.
So the mind is trapped in illusion in all kinds of mental images.
Therefore,
It couldn't really meet this moment.
It can't really see the people around one because the mind is always trapped in images.
When the mind actually says that there is no future psychologically,
The mind says that it only belongs to this moment.
This moment is always here.
The mind doesn't need to seek,
Doesn't need to make efforts,
Doesn't need to control.
Instead,
As long as the mind begins to control,
Begins to seek,
Begins to make efforts,
The mind is trapped in illusions.
This psychological future comes back.
It is an illusion out of seeking,
Out of making efforts,
Out of controlling.
Where there are temporary satisfaction,
Pleasure,
But it is a constant struggle of living.
Can one see this actually in one's living?
When the mind stops seeking,
The mind only belongs to this moment.
Everything comes naturally.
Everything disappears naturally.
There's no control.
There's no efforts.
But as long as the mind is seeking,
Is making efforts,
Is controlling,
The mind is in illusion.
