So get yourself comfortable.
Noticing your body and the chair supporting you.
Adjusting any part that needs more comfort.
And taking a couple of long,
Slow breaths in and out.
Settling yourself into this moment.
Creating a little space for you.
Some time to connect with what truly matters.
Leaving the day outside of this space.
Nothing to worry about right now.
And today we want to focus on bringing a little more joy into your day,
Into your life.
And joy is a state of being fully alive.
It's just a feeling of openness and lightness and connection.
That everything is okay in this moment.
And it's something that grows through attention.
When you start to notice the things in your life that feel good.
Things that are meaningful,
Beautiful.
You strengthen your ability to experience it more.
Because joy exists in those small moments.
Moments of connection.
Moments of stillness.
It exists in the beauty around us.
In the everyday experiences that you choose to be present for.
So today let's notice all of the joy that exists.
The morning light through the window.
The movement of branches of the trees in the breeze.
The raindrops falling on the window.
Or just that stillness in the air when we stop.
Start to tune into that.
Even the smallest details today.
The color of the sky.
That feeling of fresh air on your skin.
The space,
The freedom.
Whatever there is to notice,
That's good.
Maybe it's the smile of someone you love.
The sound of their voice.
Or the feeling that they get you.
Or it could be something simple like a cozy space.
A warm drink in your hands.
And that sense of being safe.
And at peace.
So let yourself feel that joy in every ordinary moment.
In connection.
In comfort.
And in presence.
And it's not so much a matter of going looking for joy.
It's a matter of noticing what's already there.
So just take a moment to think through your day.
If it's morning,
Think through the day ahead.
If it's evening the following day.
And think of all the things that you could notice that might bring more joy.
Think of the things you already do.
Like walking the dog.
Or connecting with people.
And how in the things you already do there might be space for more joy.
And what about in your work?
For some of you it might feel difficult or you might find it difficult to find those moments.
Maybe it's connecting with a colleague.
Doing good for a client.
Maybe it's taking a couple of minutes for yourself to go inward.
To connect with yourself,
To find peace.
Finding your inner joy.
So perhaps you can set an intention for this day.
To make a little bit of space.
A little bit of openness.
To experience the joy that's already there.
And taking a lovely deep breath in any moment.
Just to connect in with yourself.
To let go of the busyness all around you.
And to fully open your eyes to what's already there.
So taking a final long deep breath in.
And exhaling.
Bringing awareness to your fingers and toes.
Noticing your back against the chair.
Rolling your shoulders.
Opening your eyes.
Getting ready to notice all the joy in the world around you.
Have a beautiful inner day.
