So settling in to your meditation space.
Adjusting your position for maximum comfort and minimum distraction.
And now take a breath.
Maybe inhaling a little deeper and longer than usual.
And allowing the exhale to take care of itself.
And now just noticing how your body feels.
Right now,
In this moment.
Just bringing your attention to this wonderful body.
That's been with you quite a while.
And can you notice?
What's going on with your body?
Without judgment.
Or without further commentary.
Because so often when we notice our state.
For example,
I'm tired.
We add commentary.
I'm so tired.
How am I going to get through the day?
Or maybe I'm so tired I shouldn't have had that extra drink.
Or I shouldn't have watched that extra episode.
So let's just try and notice the body.
Staying neutral.
Keeping their commentary and judgment to the side.
It is what it is.
And as we start to notice the different parts of our body.
If you feel like adjusting or stretching.
Or bringing your hand to a certain part of the body,
Please do so.
And let's start.
With noticing your head.
Just notice first of all the position or location of your head in relation to your neck and shoulders.
Adjusting if you feel the need.
And your neck.
On top of your shoulders.
Connected to your right shoulder.
And down into your right arm.
The elbow.
On the lower arm.
And the wrist and hand.
And all five fingers.
And then moving over to your left shoulder.
Your left arm.
Elbow.
Lower arm.
Left wrist.
And and all fingers.
Now moving back into your torso,
From your neck down into your chest.
Noticing your chest.
Down into your stomach.
Or hips.
And down your right leg.
To the knee.
Lower leg.
Right ankle.
Right foot.
And all of the toes attached to your right foot.
And your left leg.
And knee.
Lower leg.
Ankle.
Your whole left foot.
And toes.
Attached to your left foot.
Now bring your awareness to your whole body.
Sitting in the chair,
Lying on the bed.
Your whole body in relation to the space you're in.
Your whole body breathing naturally.
Just bring some appreciation for this body.
Some compassion for all that it's done,
All that it's been through.
Holding your body.
This state of appreciation and care.
Observing the whole body.
Just observing.
Not judging,
Not controlling.
Just noticing.
And this is a reminder that we can observe without having to fix things.
We can observe and see things without having to figure them out,
Without having to know all the answers.
Because it's not always your job.
To solve all the problems,
All your own problems,
Other people's problems,
The world problems.
How would it be?
If we just let go of some of that control.
Some of that need to fix.
Just trust it.
Can we trust?
That everything is as it should be.
That all of the problems and obstacles are lessons Can we trust that the universe has your back?
That you're always supported.
And repeat this affirmation.
The universe supports me.
I am safe.
The universe supports me.
I am safe.
And anytime you find yourself.
Worrying or fixating on a problem.
Thinking.
That you need to solve it right now.
Come back to that affirmation.
The universe supports me.
I am safe.
Maybe putting a hand on your heart.
Feeling that support.
I am safe.
The universe supports me.
I am safe.
Breathing into that affirmation,
Allowing it to settle right through your body.
Imagine it going into your nervous system.
Those words,
That comfort,
That safety.
Moving right through your nervous system,
Settling in all the places that it's needed.
I am safe.
The Universe supports me.
I am safe.
Imagine it moving right through your body.
Those words like a little train.
An express train running right through.
All of your veins,
All of your nerves.
I am safe.
I am safe.
I am safe.
Running right through all the different connections.
Changing lines,
Changing zones,
I am safe,
I am safe,
I am safe.
And remembering you don't have to fix everything right now,
You don't have to have all the answers.
You need to remind yourself to trust.
Taking a final deep breath in.
Locking in all of that safety and security and trust.
And exhaling.
And in your own time.
Bringing your awareness back to your whole body,
The chair and the bed,
Bringing movement to your fingers and your toes.
And opening your eyes.
Thank you for joining me.
