Come to a comfortable seat or come to lie down.
Start to deepen the breath.
Take a full inhale through the nose into the lungs.
Enjoy that breath.
That means that you are alive.
Exhale and repeat.

During this practice,
I'm going to bring your awareness to things in your life that you are thankful for.
Give gratitude the chance to arrive naturally.
When it comes up,
Let yourself sink into the feeling and surrender to it.
Notice how it feels in your body.
Notice the emotions that arise,
How your energy feels,
And if it doesn't come up,
That's okay.
You don't need to try to make yourself feel it.
Practice surrendering to your heart instead of your mind.
Let's take a moment to reflect on all aspects of your life that you might be grateful for.
First,
Bring your awareness to your breath as you breathe in and breathe out,
Knowing that this breath is what gives you life and that you get to be alive today on this planet.
Become aware of your heartbeat sending blood,
Oxygen,
And nutrients throughout your body and also filling with love and compassion and peace that you get to experience and send out into the world.
Bring your awareness to your eyes your eyes that allow you to see color,
Faces,
Smiles,
The beauty of nature,
The sunrise,
The sunset,
Gorgeous rainbows,
The moon and the night sky,
Yourself in the mirror.
Bring your awareness now to your ears.
Your ears that allow you to hear the sound of laughter,
The voices of your loved ones,
The sounds of music,
The sounds of nature and our environment,
Perhaps the simple sound of silence,
All of the beautiful sounds that exist in this world.
Now bring your awareness to your nose.
Your nose gives you the ability to smell the sweet sense of the ocean breeze,
Perfume,
All the yummy treats of the holidays,
Your favorite flower,
Freshly cut grass.
Think of your favorite favorite smell.
Now bring your awareness to your lips and mouth,
Your mouth that gives you the sensation of taste,
All the yummy things that you'll get to taste in this lifetime,
Your favorite treat,
Your favorite drink and also the experiences that your mouth allow you to have,
Your mouth that speaks,
That whispers and sings,
Your mouth that allows you to share sweet kisses with those you love.
Bring your awareness now to your hands,
Your hands that allow you to feel,
To touch,
To hold the hand of a loved one,
To caress,
To applaud,
To high-five,
To wave and the arms and shoulders that allow us to carry heavy loads,
Hug our loved ones,
Lift,
Stretch,
Do all of the many things in life.
Give thanks for your feet,
Your toes,
The gift to be able to wiggle them,
The gift of being able to walk,
Run,
Dance,
Leap,
Jump.
Bring your awareness to your whole body,
The gift that it is.
Bring your awareness to your abundance,
Your growth,
Your expansion,
Your mindset shifts,
The flow of empathy and love and light and your ability to see growth and potential in every moment.
Now just breathe and feel more grace and ease.
Experience the warmth,
Love and compassion that gratitude brings to your heart.
Allow your awareness to drift to the relationships in your life,
The new ones,
The old ones,
The ones that nurture you and support you.
Think of love in your life and your connection to those things that are sweet and loving and wonderful.
Breathe all of this in and give thanks for the life that you get to live,
