Welcome to this short,

Calming meditation to help you become more present and in the moment.

As you listen,

Follow the directions of my voice in any way comfortable to you.

This is your time,

Your meditation.

Take in a nice,

Slow,

Deep breath in through your nose of acceptance to relax.

And release,

Even slower,

Out through your mouth to release any tension that has built up in your mind and muscles.

Continue breathing slow,

Deep breaths as we continue.

Gently closing your eyes,

In whatever position you are sat or laid in,

Feel the atmosphere around your body.

Sense every object in the room with your own energy.

Build a picture in your mind.

Continue to relax more with each deepened breath,

Feel the surface you sit or lay upon.

Breathing automatically relaxing breaths now,

Bring calmness to your mind in listening to your heartbeat slowing down to a regular and more natural soothing rhythm.

With each beat,

Your mind stays focused on the internal calmness that frees your muscles.

With each natural breath,

Your shoulders and the tops of your arms melt downwards.

Perhaps your head even droops slightly.

With a regular baseline heartbeat and a smooth breathing pattern,

You feel calmer as each second passes.

Sense your legs feeling heavier,

Making you more grounded in the moment,

Your feet loosened to accommodate a more refreshed state in your whole body.

Possibly sensing a tingling effect throughout your skin,

Your own energy heals your every emotion down,

Calming every second to a slower pace.

A warmth may be felt within your chest and heart area of self love.

Feel that warmth radiate out to your neck,

Head,

Shoulders,

Arms,

Abdomen,

Hips,

Legs and feet.

Every part of you now relaxed as can be.

Now take a moment to just be present.

Sitting or laying perfectly still,

You just observe what your mind and body is actually doing.
