We begin with the intention.
We are creating space to let go.
We don't always need to know what we are letting go of.
The intention is enough.
Let your eyes close softly and your body land gently.
You don't need to use your muscles right now.
You don't need to hold yourself in any way.
Just land.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Not changing it yet.
Just noticing it.
That soft rhythm that has been keeping going all day without you really thinking about it.
Feel the breath right now.
Is it shallow or tight?
Does it move freely or does it feel like it's getting caught somewhere?
Just notice.
Now take a longer,
Slow breath in through your nose,
As deep as it feels comfortable.
And open the mouth and release it with a sigh.
Breathing in.
Sighing out.
Breathing in.
And sighing out.
Let your breath settle back into its own little rhythm.
And scan your body slowly from the very top of your head down,
The forehead softening and the jaw.
Let your shoulders drop.
Relax your chest.
New belly.
Your hands and your fingers.
And just be in this moment.
With the breath.
With the in and the out.
Mmm.
Invite your breath now to support the loosening and the releasing of what might be held in the body.
Because a lot of what we carry energetically can sit in our cells,
In the tightness of our chest,
In the knot in our stomach.
The heaviness behind the eyes.
Breath is one of the most powerful tools we have for shifting stuck energy.
So together we're going to breathe in for four.
Hold for four and release for eight.
And by lengthening the exhale,
We will activate the parasympathetic nervous system.
Letting your body know that it's safe to release.
And it's safe to let go.
Let's breathe together.
Breathe in,
2,
3,
4.
Hold,
2,
3,
4.
And out,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6,
7,
8.
And again,
Breathe in,
2,
3,
4.
And hold,
2,
Three,
Four,
And out,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight.
Once more,
In,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And hold,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And exhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
A.
Flow back into your natural rhythm of breath.
And notice how the body has already shifted slightly.
A little bit more space.
A little bit more ease.
And from this softness.
This is where we go inwards.
Now bring your attention to the body,
Really bring it into the body.
And ask yourself this one simple question and notice what rises without trying to analyze it.
Where am I holding something that isn't mine?
Scanned slowly through your body.
Is it in the throat?
Maybe there's something unspoken,
Unsaid that's sitting there.
Words that were swallowed instead of said.
Is it in the chest,
The heart?
A grief that hasn't fully moved through.
Or a love that ended but left something behind.
Maybe a disappointment that got stored here because you were strong for everyone else but didn't have the space to allow yourself to feel it.
Do you feel?
The weight in the stomach or the solar plexus.
This is where we often hold the energy of other people,
Their anxiety,
Their expectations.
And somehow their emotions became ours to carry.
Do you notice anything in the hips or the lower body?
Old stories sometimes live here.
Old versions of events Things we thought we had released,
But the body is still quietly holding on to,
Patiently holding.
Be curious.
We're not fixing right now,
Simply becoming aware.
And if something or someone specifically comes to mind,
A face,
A feeling,
A memory,
Is let it be seen.
Acknowledge it.
We don't need to do anything with it just yet.
Now I want you to bring your awareness to the energy field around your body,
The space just beyond your skin.
Imagine that you can see or sense or feel Threads of energy that connect you to other people and situations.
Some of them feel warm and strong and nourishing.
These are the healthy chords,
The loving relationships,
The people,
The places,
The things that genuinely fill you up.
That nourish you.
These are the chords.
That are staying.
That we are not touching.
Right now.
Feel them like strands of love and light flowing between you and me.
And the person or the place.
Or the animal.
Or there may be other cords,
Other threads that feel heavy or tangled.
Connections that pull at your energy rather than replenish it.
Maybe a chord that runs to someone that you've been thinking about too much.
Someone that you give your energy to.
Even though they're no longer in your daily life.
A situation that is genuinely over.
But you're still energetically attached to it.
You don't need to name everything.
To your sense.
Maybe right now there is one chord in particular that is ready to go in this moment.
Let whatever wants to come forward to come.
And if nothing specifically arises.
Hold the intention of releasing whatever your system is ready to let go of today.
Trust your energy,
It knows.
Now place one hand on your heart.
And one hand on your belly.
Feel the warmth of your own hands.
Feel your own heartbeat if you can.
Take a slow breath in,
And as you breathe out,
Feel.
The earth,
The ground beneath you.
The earth energy is one of the greatest recyclers of energy that exists.
Whatever you release.
Pachamama,
She will take it,
She will transform it.
Nothing is wasted,
Nothing is lost.
It simply returns to the great cycle of things composted into something new.
As you move through this release.
You're not simply throwing this energy into a void.
You are returning it to the earth,
To the universe.
To the great letting go that is always available.
Take a deep breath in and on this next exhale,
Feel the cord or weight of stored emotion that came forward for you.
Feel it begin to loosen.
A gentle unhooking.
Like untying a knot.
That has been tight for a long time.
Simply.
Releasing.
Breathe in again.
And as you breathe out,
Feel it loosen a little bit more.
Energy that is not yours,
Letting it flow down through the body,
Down through the legs,
Down into the earth below where it can be transformed.
And with the next breath in.
Breathe in a quality you want to reclaim.
Peace.
Spay.
Your own energy returning to you.
Choose a word and breathe it in.
Feel it fill the places.
That you are beginning to empty.
Breathing out,
Loosening,
Releasing,
Releasing.
Let it move now.
Whatever was stored there.
Whatever has been sitting within you,
Let it go.
Speak to this energy.
I release you from my energy field.
I release this from my body.
I take back what is mine,
My peace,
My energy,
My wholeness.
And I wish you well.
Goodbye.
You may feel relief.
You may feel tears.
It may be simply a quiet,
Clean feeling.
Like a room that has been aired out spacious calm,
Clear.
Now wherever that cord was,
Wherever you may have felt it within you,
You have made some space.
Breathe into this.
Breathe in warmth.
Breathe in light.
Breathe in love.
You are not left empty by this release.
You are left available,
Available for things that nourish you.
Available for connections that are truly reciprocal.
Available for you and your own life,
Not the one that was entangled with what is already over.
Breathe that in,
Really breathe that in.
Place both hands to your heart.
Feel a lightness.
Feel a quiet sense that something has genuinely shifted.
Releasing is not always easy.
It asks us to be honest about what we've been carrying.
It asks us to be willing to let go even when part of us isn't sure that we're ready.
It asks us to trust that what comes after the release is better than what we're holding on to.
And you have done that for yourself.
Simply,
Beautifully letting go.
Take a breath in.
And even if your lips can't lift to the smile,
Feel a little smile within your heart.
Whisper to yourself I love you.
I wish you the best of luck.
I wish you success.
The smile may grow within your heart or on your beautiful face.
I love you,
I deserve this.
Thank you for being with me in this practice.
My heart,
My love,
My light connects to yours.
Namaste.
