Freedom is the gentle touch of noticing when a gentle breeze passes by.
Freedom is seeing the apple blossom,
Blossoming in its own time.
Freedom is being you,
Acting upon your truth.
Freedom is giving yourself full permission to be a priority.
Freedom is taking care of your health and well-being.
It's putting boundaries in place that need to be in place.
For you to feel respected and well.
Freedom is giving yourself space and time to just be you.
Without expectations,
Without consequences.
Freedom is going through life without the need to please others.
To make yourself feel worthy.
Freedom is owning the knowledge that you are worthy,
Regardless of all else.
You are worthy without recognition from others.
You are worthy with boundaries in place.
You are worthy with the body you are in.
You are worthy with the already beautiful face that you have.
You are worthy when you have had enough and want to close the door and not speak and have some time for yourself.
You are worthy when your social battery is full.
You are worthy when you don't feel well.
You are worthy even when you don't feel you are.
You are worthy regardless of anything else.
And if you are walking through your life not feeling so,
It's time to change that.
It's time to come home to the depth of you and acknowledge that your worth is already there.
And that all you need to do is allow it to start flowing back through your veins.
And feel that worth down to the core.
Feel it flowing through your bloodstream.
Feel it so within you that you can't ever unfeel it.
Take a deep breath and close your eyes to.
Breathe in and float down and down as I take you on a journey closer to home than you'd think possible.
And I wonder if you can imagine feeling so light,
Feeling so free,
That you could almost begin to float on air.
Having a sense of feeling warm and safe and secure and that here you are all you need.
Here you are all you want.
Wrapped in tender care.
Wrapped in a cloud.
Safely and lovingly in a big billowing cloud that is so soft and bright.
And around the edge of this cloud I'm taken from a sunset far,
Far away.
Is it orange or is it gold?
Laced in purple there in this cloud so safe,
So held.
And right now the day doesn't matter,
The week doesn't matter.
For you are within this caring cloud of security and serenity.
Nothing outside of this cloud matters now.
Right now all that matters is you.
Now you are all that matters.
You have,
As we all have,
Been given a name.
A name that you go by each and every day.
You've been given an age and a bundle of responsibilities.
Through life we also collect along the way worries and fears.
The memories of events that have upset us and caused pain in the past.
And also anxieties for the future.
And I wonder,
What would life look like if for a moment you let all of those things go?
What would happen for the next moment of this meditation if you allowed all of those things to go?
Would you feel empty?
Would you feel lost?
Would you feel like your purpose is missing?
Or would you feel free?
Would you recognize that you don't need the worries to be you?
Would you begin to see that you can still do everything you need but without worrying and without feeling anxious?
You see,
Whether you worry or whether you don't,
The same outcome,
You will still do the same things.
But what if the worry and the fears weren't there?
So just for now,
Let go of your name as you don't need it right now.
Let go of your age.
Put your responsibilities to one side.
And maybe you can see a box,
A beautiful box carved in wood with a lid.
And if you like,
You can put everything in there.
So see yourself or simply imagine yourself putting those things into the box.
And each time,
Close the lid.
And know that they will not come out until you take them out.
They simply cannot let go when you lift the lid up.
You don't need the worries right now,
So put them to one side or put them in the box.
Let them go for now.
Let go of expectations,
Which are of course for other people.
Expectations are never for you.
Let them go.
Now you don't need any worries because you're letting go.
And letting go of the day and relaxing.
And if there is something I haven't mentioned that you'd like to let go of,
Just take a moment and let it go too.
Sense your body empty of restrictions,
Empty of force,
Empty of fullness and busyness.
Sense your body well.
Sense your mind calm and relaxed and gentle.
This moment that you're in is for taking time,
Experiencing space and offering yourself permission to be still and to be held and cared for and loved by you.
Find yourself drifting and floating,
Floating and drifting in softness and drifting in the cloud that is holding you safe and sound in softness.
Held in love,
Feel the space and hold it there within you.
Feel the freedom and notice that what is present is you,
The soul of who you are,
The spirit of your reality,
Who in time has been covered up and over and pushed down by shuds and expectations.
But today we welcome forth you,
The real you who is so worthy of being seen,
Of being loved and being held for the you that you are,
For the you who will set you free.
Who are you?
Focus on the space,
Be within this space and ask yourself,
Who am I?
Without fears and worries and expectations and pressures and strains.
Who am I when I feel freedom and space?
What brings you balance and comfort?
What makes you feel good?
And what makes you feel and experience your very own truth?
You don't have to think things that you think should make you feel those ways.
Just allow whatever is to come to come.
Allow your truth to set you free.
And remember,
It's not always the big things.
Sometimes it's the small things that mean a lot,
That mean everything.
And sometimes it means our worlds get smaller.
But within the reduction of size comes great growth within.
Within that reduction comes the deepest of love.
There comes the very core of you.
And there you find what matters,
What really matters to you.
Because in years to come,
You don't want to be regretting not loving enough of what really matters.
Of not loving enough the things that are right in front of you.
And when we are anxious and depressed,
It is often caused by life being too much,
Too overwhelming,
Too demanding,
Too big.
But if you took away those demands,
You will find the truth of your purpose.
Going back to your blank canvas can often change your whole world.
Everyone talks about having a purpose.
What is your purpose?
What can you change in this world?
The pressure it amounts to can be overwhelming.
But let me remind you that your purpose may simply be to find joy in the flowers,
To find happiness in your family,
To take great care of yourself.
It doesn't have to be big.
It doesn't have to impress others.
It just has to matter to you.
Take three lovely deep breaths.
Feel balanced and cared for.
And find that you floated down,
All the way down,
To find yourself at the side of a beautiful large pond.
The water is clear and you can see that it's shallow.
And because the only cloud in the sky was the one that you were in,
The sun has been shining down,
Warming the water and making it feel so nice.
And here is a place of tranquility,
Of safety and of space.
Take your time to just think,
To be still,
To be you.
And you can just sit next to this pond or you can allow yourself to float upon it.
The choice is yours and allow your thoughts of this special place to take over from the sound of my voice,
As you remember all the things that make your world go round the right way.
And just allow my voice to trail off into the background as you focus on you.
I am safe.
I am worthy.
I am free.
I am incredible.
I am healing.
I am available for me.
I am able to rely upon myself to keep well.
I am braver than I think.
I am allowed to be me.
I am worth everything.
I am stronger than I've realized.
I am worthy of time.
Powerful.
Peaceful.
I am whole.
I am cherished.
I am worthy of love.
I am me.
I will always be enough to be worthy.
I am worthy.
I always will be.
I always have been,
Even when I've not seen it.
You are worthy.
I promise you that.
You are wanted.
Please,
Please love yourself.
And know that everything that you let go of during this relaxation can now be collected if you so choose.
But perhaps you could leave the worries and fears behind.
See how you get on without them.
And know that if you do want them,
You can collect them at any time.
