Take me to a place where I can lose myself.

Take me to a place where nothing lies.

Take me to a place free of expectations,

Free of pressures.

Take me to a place where I can be free.

Breathe the way you want,

Deep and full or light and gentle.

Have you ever held a dove?

When you let go,

It flies to the wind.

Take your name into your hand and like a dove,

Release it to the wind.

Let it go.

Take your age and release it.

Take your responsibilities and let them go.

Take your income,

Your illness,

Your pain.

And in this moment,

Take it into your hand and release them to the wind.

For now,

Let them go.

Because in this moment and in this time,

All you need to be is you.

There you are.

There you are.

The real you.

The you who was born perfection.

The you who expresses what you need and doesn't hide that away or push it down.

The you who knows exactly what you want and how to get it.

The you who holds no fear.

The you who is brave.

Brave to allow and know that you are already enough.

That your wants,

Hopes and dreams are touchable.

That you can reach them without fear of failure or embarrassment.

There is no need to worry about being seen,

Being heard.

Because you know and you understand that you are enough.

Even when things don't go to plan,

You are enough.

Even when you're off balance,

You are enough.

Even when you want to give up,

You are enough.

You need no external validation to be you.

To be the version of you that you choose.

It's time to be the truth.

Your truth.

And to live your truth.

And when you do that,

You are free.

Here,

You are free.

And right now,

All you need to do,

Breathe in and breathe out.

In your own gentle time.

However you want.

Whatever way is right for you.

And find yourself in a wild flower meadow.

The grasses and flowers are knee high.

And in this meadow,

There is you.

Nothing added.

Just taken away.

Just rest and wander.

Wander and rest.

And you know that deep down,

You cannot improve upon perfection.

Because perfection isn't doing things right all the time.

Perfection isn't being correct always.

Or looking immaculate.

Or being the most financially successful.

Or being the busiest.

Perfection is being the version of you that is most true.

Perfection is found in the understated.

The covered up.

The hidden version of you.

The version of you that you are told to change.

You don't need to do anything to be better.

You don't need to prove yourself to anyone.

You don't need to change to keep up.

To be the same.

To be you.

You are already complete.

You have just covered up yourself.

Within layers and layers of shoulds and will-do's.

But I cannot tell you enough that within you lies perfection.

It's already there.

I cannot tell you enough that you follow what you think you should do.

And how you should be.

And that leads to change.

It leads to misdirection of self.

It leads to you getting lost and losing who you are.

Day by day.

Year by year.

Only to find that it takes a forever to return.

The key to happiness holds no magic or miracle.

It holds no financial value.

Its cost is nothing.

Yet everything.

You see,

It's the opposite to everything.

It is opposite to full.

It is opposite to busy.

It's the opposite to excess.

It lays within you.

It lays within the undoing of all of that.

All that that surrounds you.

It lays within the emptiness.

Within the time you have.

Within letting go.

And within letting that go,

You remember.

You remember your worth.

Your value.

Of loving yourself without condition.

Allowing yourself to will.

And regrow as many times as you need with no judgment.

Just compassion.

Can you imagine not needing to have this done and that changed and that improved?

That being better or being more?

What happens when you let go?

What happens when your focus becomes your internal joy?

When your focus becomes the ones you love and the ones you hold in your heart?

And changing to try and find your happiness there becomes a thing of the past?

What happens when your focus becomes the memories you make?

And the improving of yourself in such a harsh way becomes a distant memory?

What happens when your focus becomes the now and the internal and not waiting for a better day?

A better version,

A more improved self becomes the present?

The truth is that when your time has come to an end,

You will not regret improvement of being better and looking different.

You'll regret missing the moments that commenced that matter.

The moments of so much laughter and letting yourself be free in teaching those you love how that freedom feels for them.

You won't regret anything material but you might regret not standing in the warm room.

You'll regret not feeling the breeze.

You'll regret not finding your truth.

It is so easy to become entangled,

To become so lost that you feel like you can no longer reach your home,

Your happiness.

That is simply how we have all learned to be,

To live.

We follow the rules,

We follow people,

We watch from afar and truly believe that they have the key but they don't have your key,

Only you have.

What is it that matters to you?

And as you think of what matters to you,

Let me simply fade away,

Let me fade away as your thoughts become more focused.

The breeze you lay beneath the stars you are,

Within your soul you'll be.

For when you wake,

Permission to find your joy inside,

To find your love within,

To focus on those you love with a full and open mind,

Remembering all the things that matter,

All the things that make you,

You.

See yourself so clearly,

See yourself so well,

See yourself as you,

The original version of course,

Cherished by the sun,

So warm,

So loved,

Kissed by gentle raindrops,

Surrounded by the scent of the season,

Forever you,

The real you,

You.

And with my love and my grateful heart to yours,

Namaste.
