Wherever you are,
Whatever your day has held,
This is your space to return to yourself.
Gently begin closing your eyes.
Let the world around you soften,
Just a little.
Let your breath begin to guide you inward,
Into the quiet sanctuary of your own stillness.
Bring your attention to your breath.
No need to change it,
Just notice it.
As it enters,
Feel your shoulders gently falling away from your ears.
Your jaw unclenching,
The muscles around your eyes softening,
And with every exhale,
Ever you no longer need.
And imagine yourself walking through a peaceful forest,
And you come across a small clearing,
Bathed in golden light.
Here you sit,
And everything,
The breeze,
The birdsong,
The soft ground beneath you,
Reminds you that you belong.
You are here,
You are enough.
Now place your hand over your heart,
And gently ask,
Which part of me needs to be held today?
Maybe it's the tired part,
Or the quiet strength that's been waiting to be seen.
Whatever arises,
Welcome it.
No fixing,
No forcing,
Just listening.
Begin to bring yourself back slowly.
Awaken your toes,
Your fingers.
Gently blink your eyes open,
And carry this stillness with you,
Not as something you need to hold on to tightly,
Something that returns again and again,
Whenever you remember.
