Your womb space is the seat of your intuition and your creative life force. Bringing regular awareness to this part of your body will support in clearing old emotions, experiences, and stories held there so that you can listen to the wisdom that lies beneath it all. Your inner knowing and your inner voice. This meditation is designed with the intention of supporting you in creating a sense of embodied safety in the body and cultivating trust in the messages you receive from your womb. I highly recommend listening to this on a regular basis.

Welcome to this womb meditation.

You can practice this meditation at any time in any place,

But if it's available to you and you would like to,

I invite you to light a candle before starting and to set yourself up in a really comfortable and cozy space where you feel safe and held.

So coming to find a position where the body feels really comfortable and free.

This can be seated on your sit bones or you can be lying down.

So just choosing what feels best for you in this moment now,

Depending on your energy levels,

How your body feels,

What your womb is needing.

And we'll just start by taking a few clearing breaths together.

So a deep inhale through the nose,

Feel the expansion of breath down through the ribs and into the belly.

And exhale through the mouth.

Two more breaths like this,

Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.

One more like this,

Inhaling deeply and a soft patient exhale.

Sealing the lips here now and finding a natural breath in and out through the nose.

So one that doesn't require so much effort,

One that feels really soft and really supportive.

And from here we're going to start gently relaxing into all parts of our body.

So starting at the crown of the head,

Just invite in the sensation of relaxation.

Relaxing the skin across your forehead,

Relaxing your temples,

Feeling the back of your head relax,

Relaxing the ears,

The eyebrows,

The eyelids,

The eyes,

Relaxing the cheeks and the nose,

Relaxing the lips,

The tongue,

The teeth.

And opening and closing the jaw here and maybe moving it from side to side and releasing any tension here.

And then feeling the sensation of relaxation traveling down around your neck and into your shoulders.

Allow your shoulders to melt away from the ears.

Maybe feeling your shoulder blades coming together slightly,

Opening up the space around your heart,

Softening and relaxing your heart space.

Relaxing through the arms,

Around the elbows,

Through the forearms,

Relaxing the hands and all the way to the tips of your fingers.

Feeling the upper back relax,

The lower back and softening and relaxing the belly.

Notice if you can relax your hips a little more,

Your glutes and the space around your vulva.

Relaxing the legs,

Relaxing the knees and the lower legs and feeling this relaxation going through your ankles,

Into your feet and out to the tip of each of your toes.

And let's take a deep breath in here,

Breathing in that sensation of relaxation into every cell,

One connected hole.

And open mouth,

Exhale.

Relax,

Soften,

Release.

So from here we're going to take three rounds of a nervous system regulation breath or sound.

So we're going to breathe in through the nose and we're going to exhale making the sound voooooo.

And this is stimulating the vagus nerve and really helping the body come into a parasympathetic state.

So helping us to connect with and create a feeling of safety in our body as we go on this womb journey.

Inhaling together and exhaling for voooooo.

Two more like this.

Inhaling and exhale for voooooo.

Final one,

Inhale and exhale.

Voooooo.

Sealing the lips,

Come to find a natural breath in and out through the nose again.

And just notice if you can feel any subtle vibrations in your body,

Notice if anything's shifted,

If anything's arising,

Any feelings,

Emotions,

Just welcoming and creating space for them.

And then from here I invite you to bring your thumbs together and your fingers together,

Your first fingers together.

And position them so they are in an upside down triangle on your lower belly.

So you can bring the thumbs just below your belly button and then have the fingers touching just above your pubic bone on your pubic mound.

And allow the touch here or the hands to be soft and gentle on your belly,

On your womb space.

And just start to bring all of your attention and awareness here as you breathe.

And just notice how it feels to bring this touch to this part of your body.

What emotions,

Thoughts or feelings does this evoke in you?

Do you feel any sense of resistance or can you quite easily access a feeling of love?

Whatever's arising for you here is perfect.

Just create that space,

Be with your breath to meet that and embrace that.

And just noticing here as you breathe the gentle expansion and contraction that you maybe feel around your belly and your womb.

And let's bring even more conscious relaxation to this part of our body.

It is a space where we can hold and carry so much without realizing.

So allowing the skin across your belly to relax and maybe inviting in this feeling of relaxation to go even deeper.

So relaxing your uterus,

Relaxing your ovaries,

Relaxing your cervix,

Your vagina,

Your vulva,

The inner and outer labia,

Relaxing your perineum and your anus.

And if you don't quite know where all of these parts sit in your body exactly,

That's okay.

Just inviting in the sense of relaxation to all the corners of this part of your body.

And we'll just spend the next few breaths connecting with the vibration and the frequency of love,

The feeling,

The energy of love.

What does that feel like to you?

With your next few breaths,

I invite you to breathe that feeling into this part of your body,

Into your womb space.

You might like to imagine that it has a color or maybe you feel it as a warmth,

But really breathing in,

Breathing out,

Letting this loving energy fill your womb space.

Inhaling love and exhaling love,

Inhaling love and exhaling love.

Inhaling love and exhaling love.

And just keep going for a few more rounds of breath,

Allowing whatever you feel,

Any emotions that arise,

Any resistance that arises,

Using your breath to be present with,

Ride the waves of it,

Moving with curiosity.

And now from here,

I invite you to imagine that your womb now has a voice.

So if your womb could speak and express,

What would she say to you right now?

What words would she share with you?

And just taking these next few breaths,

These next few moments to listen,

Listen to her wisdom,

Listen to her requests,

Her desires,

Her needs.

What is your womb sharing with you?

What is she telling you?

What is she asking of you?

And how can you take note and listen to her messages?

How can you move with her guidance?

How can you trust in her wisdom?

And taking these next few breaths to thank your womb space for speaking with you,

For sharing with you,

Sending her love and gratitude and appreciation.

And now from here,

Moving one hand to your heart,

Keeping one hand on your belly and taking some deeper breaths,

Inhaling and exhaling,

Just reflecting on how you want to move into the rest of your day.

Maybe with the information or messages your womb has given you,

Or maybe with any feelings and emotions you're experiencing right now,

Or maybe with ideas and inspiration that are coming through.

How do you want to move into the rest of your day?

And now from here,

Letting your arms,

Your hands wrap around your body in a hug,

Hugging yourself,

Holding yourself,

Thanking yourself,

Thanking yourself for taking this time to create a deeper connection with yourself,

With your womb,

To build a feeling of trust,

A feeling of presence.

And I invite you here to think about one thing you're really proud of yourself for in this moment.

Just the first thing that comes to mind.

And really start to invite in that feeling of pride into your entire being.

So taking it from a thought and transforming it into a feeling,

An embodied feeling,

Breathing it in,

This feeling of pride for yourself,

Letting it expand and fill every cell of your body.

Almost as if your whole body is radiating with this feeling of pride for yourself.

And just basking in this for a few moments,

Reminding yourself how great you are,

How awesome you are,

What a great job you're doing at being human.

And then when you're ready,

You can release the hands from the body.

Maybe start to roll out the shoulders or take any other intuitive movements that feel really nourishing and supportive for you right now.

And then slowly starting to blink open the eyes and just taking in the space around you.

Noticing the colors,

Shapes,

Textures.

And here we close our meditation.
