This rhyming meditation takes you on a journey from mountains and trees to a comfortable bed on a tropical beach. The soundscape, containing natural sounds, helps to bring this idyllic scenario to life. The rhyme gives way to an immersive soundscape to drift asleep to. The vocals and the soundscape are created and produced by me.

♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ Picture yourself by a tree on a mound with your bare feet firmly in contact with the ground.

After a long day walking between mountains and trees,

A feeling of well-earned tiredness sets in to your feet and knees.

And the warm tropical air and the fresh sea breeze create the perfect temperature for you to fall asleep with ease.

As you make your way down to the idyllic beach below,

With golden sands and palm trees that grow,

The setting sun melts into the sea like gold and the gentle waves lap against the shore as they roll.

The bioluminescence in the clear sea sparkles and the sun dips down below the horizon,

Revealing twinkling stars and a big round moon,

The beauty of which lifts lightly any gloom.

And on this empty beach,

Which belongs just to you,

There sits a giant soft bed under the deep dusk blue.

As you move closer to your bed,

Step by step,

Your tiredness increases until there is little wake left.

Step by step you go,

All remaining tension flows and leaves behind pure relaxation and so,

As you sit on the bed,

Your eyelids heavy,

You find a welcomed and deserved complete lack of energy.

So just as you settle as naturally as anything can be,

Curling up in your bed and hearing the sea,

Feeding in and out into a distant note,

As your thoughts disperse freely and upwardly float,

In the sky they mingle with the beautiful stars and some even rest and settle gently on Mars and all that is left is a subtle sense of safety and serenity that you can thank deeply and appreciate pleasantly.

So,

As you barely notice each muscle letting go and with them all concerns do outwardly flow,

It matters not whether awake or asleep because you're deep in this moment and loving this treat,

Your quiet surrender so soft and tender,

So peacefully bathing in wonderful splendour.

So just as you settle as naturally as anything can be,

Curling up in your bed and hearing the sea,

Feeding in and out of a distant note,

As your thoughts disperse freely and upwardly float,

In the sky they mingle with the beautiful stars
