Do you find that as you go about your day you are attaching to things,
Or grasping at things,
Or clinging on to things,
Whether it be mobile phone,
Social media,
Chocolate,
A certain person maybe,
To feel safe,
To feel satisfied,
To feel like you're okay,
Or you're enough?
So these habitual tendencies reinforce a belief that I need something outside of me to feel okay,
And this is misguided.
Nothing can fill the void,
Because there is no void.
What is,
Is what is.
What is,
Is enough.
You are enough,
Exactly as you are in this moment.
So let's feel into this,
Shall we?
So beginning by simply noticing what it feels like to be here,
In this body,
In this moment.
Gently letting go of any tension in your body or in your mind.
Now joining with the breath by placing your attention on it.
So noticing that expansion and contraction with each inhale and exhale.
Letting each breath be exactly what it is.
Letting any attachments loosen as you allow yourself to simply rest in the awareness of breathing.
Sensing in this moment of awareness that you go beyond story,
You go beyond criteria,
You are awareness itself.
As you continue to breathe with awareness,
Feeling yourself expanding into becoming one with awareness itself,
Repeat the following phrases in your mind.
I release all resistance to the way things are.
I release all self judgments and expectations.
I release all forms of craving,
Clinging,
Grasping.
Because what I seek already lives within.
I am my own validation,
My own closure,
My own safety.
I am my own validation,
My own closure,
My own safety.
I am enough,
This breath is enough,
This moment is enough.
Just letting the energy of those affirmations sink deeper and deeper into your being,
Into your body.
Into your mind with each breath.
And ending the practice now,
Setting the intention to notice moments of grasping and clinging and see them as an opportunity to remember what is true,
That there is no void and that you are enough.
Thank you for listening.
