So let's boost your confidence with some kinesiology and acupressure.
So what I'd like you to do is right now notice how you're feeling.
Notice what your mind's doing.
What's the mind chatter?
Going on,
What's going on up here.
How are your shoulders?
Notice how your body's feeling.
How are you hip to hip?
A crunched forward.
Do you have knots in your stomach?
How are you feeling?
So just tune into your whole body.
Notice how you're feeling.
And then what I'd like you to do is take your fingers and just at the base of your head,
On either side of your spine,
Just feel back until your skull finishes.
There's a little soft bit there.
And what I'd like you to do is you can either tap these points,
Hold these points,
Or rub them.
Notice how these points feel.
They may feel a little tight,
Especially if you have tight neck muscles.
And I want you to notice how they feel.
And I'd like you to start to breathe into those points.
So imagine that you're breathing in.
And bringing your breath to those points and then breathing out of those points.
These points of Ladder 10,
Called Heavenly Pillar.
And what we want to do is release the energy in this point.
Or these two points on both sides.
And then as you keep doing that,
I want you then to close your eyes.
And visualize a beautiful golden light coming through the top of your head.
This pillar of light which is strength and courage.
And I want you to feel that energy,
That light coming through the top of your head,
Through your body,
All the way down your legs.
Through your the soles of your feet into the earth.
And this pillar is stabilizing you.
Helping you to feel stronger within yourself.
And as you continue to breathe in and out,
I want you to notice if you can roll your shoulders back.
Notice if you start to stand up taller.
Notice how your stomach's feeling.
And then when you're ready,
Opening your eyes.
And again tuning into your body.
How do you feel?
How do your shoulders feel?
How does your neck feel?
How does your stomach feel?
What's going on with the mind chatter?
The thing that I found really interesting when I found this out was.
.
.
Win-win!
When we're scared,
When we're fearful,
We tend to hunch over.
It's a protection mechanism.
That usually happens when we're feeling that way,
But the reverse is also true in that if we change our posture,
We can change up here.
So when you stand up straight,
When you push your shoulders back,
When you relax your shoulders,
You can actually bring that confidence into your body.
It might be a subtle shift,
But this is one of the things we talk about in kinesiology is really tuning into your body and noticing those subtle shifts.
So give that a go.
I would love to hear your thoughts.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Thank you.
