Let's go on a journey together.
So closing your eyes and allowing your body to relax.
Knowing you are safe and protected at all times.
So begin by taking in deep breaths.
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
And as you exhale,
Imagining any stress or tension leaving your body.
And as you continue to breathe in and out,
Feeling calm and relaxation showering your head.
Allowing any tightness from your head and your neck to disappear.
And releasing any tension from your shoulders and your arms as your hands and fingers relax.
As you continue to breathe in and out,
Feeling this sense of calm travel down your spine.
Embracing your back,
Your stomach and your hips as they all relax.
Feeling this release now removing any tightness from your thighs and your calves as your feet and toes relax.
Feeling embraced in ultimate peace and feeling as light as a feather.
And then seeing yourself in a beautiful garden.
Today is a gloriously sunny day and you spend a few moments enjoying the warmth from the sun.
Feeling alive and energized,
You now spend a few more moments exploring your garden.
What do you see?
Are there flowers,
Animals,
Butterflies,
Birds?
Any other animals in your garden?
Feeling comfortable and safe in this space.
Look out into the distance and you notice a tall mountain.
You feel this mountain is calling you,
So you decide to visit this mountain today.
You start along the path that is headed towards the mountain.
There is a spring to your step as you're excited to go on this adventure.
As you bounce along the path,
You notice the beautiful plant life that frames the path.
There are colorful flowers and butterflies dancing with the bees as they fly from plant to plant.
You smile at the beauty all around you.
As you continue down your path,
The plant life changes from flowers to small trees and you notice that the path is now on an incline.
You notice how easy it is for you to walk up this path as you continue to appreciate all the beauty around you.
You may even spot a few animals dancing and playing around the trees.
In the distance you can hear the sound of running water and you know that there is a creek somewhere close by.
As you continue to walk up the path,
The trees become larger and you instinctively know that these trees are hundreds of years old.
You can feel the ancient wisdom emanating from these trees and you feel a sense of awe in their presence as you continue along the path.
Eventually,
You reach the summit of this mountain and even though you have been walking for hours,
You realize just how easy this journey was for you.
Feeling safe at the top,
You again feel the warmth from the sun.
You soak up the warm rays and somehow feel closer to the sun.
This warm energy from the sun permeates every cell in your body as if healing and energizing you.
You begin to look around.
There is so much beauty everywhere you look.
You notice what you can see in the distance.
So spending a few moments now exploring your world from this height.
You now feel it's time to return,
But before you do,
You look up at the sky and see the beautiful blue all around you.
You see gorgeous birds flying freely through the sky and you ponder for a moment what it would be like to fly like a bird.
You smile to yourself and as you do,
You notice a big white fluffy cloud drifting down to your location.
As it gets closer,
You notice this cloud is more solid than normal clouds.
You reach out and touch it.
This cloud is soft and fluffy.
You decide to step into the cloud and as you do,
You sink into the softness.
It feels wonderful and you lie back in the cloud feeling safe and secure.
As you do,
The cloud begins to drift downwards returning you to your garden where you started.
You reach the ground and step out into your garden.
It's now night time and you watch as the cloud floats away.
As you do,
You notice the infinite stars twinkling in the night sky.
You smile to yourself loving every moment of this adventure.
It is now time to return to the room you are in and back into your body.
You wiggle your fingers and your toes and you take three awakening breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
And then gently opening your eyes when you feel ready.
