Let's take five minutes to prepare for the day.
Whether right after waking up or before rushing off to work,
Taking care of your family or children or tackling your daily chores.
These five minutes could change your life as small things can lead to big changes.
Find a comfortable seat in your personal space,
A quiet place where you feel at ease.
You can close your eyes or gaze out the window at the beautiful sunrise or morning sky,
Feeling that amazing new day's energy that the sun gifts us with.
Let's begin by expressing gratitude for this new day and give thanks for the good in your life.
Feel happiness for the love you have and share and feel joy for all the positivity coming your way in the form of people,
Experiences or perhaps promises and opportunities.
Perhaps there's something you need to let go of,
Something that's bothering you.
Maybe something needs to be forgiven,
Either to yourself or to someone else.
Sometimes it's useful to apologize for something you've been carrying.
So,
Apologize.
Imagine that person in front of you.
Say what needs to be said and then project yourself into your future.
Imagine where you want to be in five years.
Where do you see yourself?
What do you want to do?
What will your life be like?
And who will be part of it?
What will you have built,
Developed,
Transformed,
Raised,
Conserved,
Learned?
And discovered that will make you happy?
Then think of one or two things you can do today to move towards that future.
Be inspired by what's possible today to take one step forward.
And if it feels overwhelming,
Break it down into the smallest possible step and make that your task for today.
Feel the joy by imagining yourself completing this small task.
A call,
An errand,
A moment of research,
Gaining new knowledge,
Or simply getting something done.
As we approach the end of our meditation,
Ensure you won't forget.
Write your one next step on a to-do list,
In an app,
Or simply hold on to the resolve to do something today.
I wish you a very happy day.
Stay focused and I'll see you all tomorrow,
If you'd like.
Take care.
Bye.
