When we practice yoga for ourselves, we often skip the Savasana practice at the end. However this sweet relaxation at the end of our practice is so important to integrate what we did on the mat into our body and mind. In this course I will guide you through a series of Savasana practices using yoga Nidra techniques. I will use techniques such as the dream journey or visualization or breath awareness. In some practices I will prompt you to set an intention or Sankalpa. This course is based on recordings of the Savasana relaxation from real Yoga classes where I use the Yoga Nidra techniques to help students into that calm, yet focused state of Yoga Nidra, the yogic sleep. Savasana promotes deep physical and mental relaxation allowing the benefits of your yoga practice to settle and be absorbed. It is a well deserved opportunity to connect with your inner self and find stillness. Background music is present in all the tracks. You can use the practices either in order, or in any given order. Meet your Teacher

She is a Vinyasa Yoga teacher and practitioner of Structural Integration. In her teacher training, she learned that the use of Yoga Nidra during Savasana helps to connect individuals to their inner wisdom and intuition. Her own yoga practice is very health and body-oriented. Her goal is to allow students to be free in their bodies and use their physical and mental potential. Her Yoga Nidra practices focus on recovery and relaxation. Doing nothing is often perceived as laziness, while bodies desperately need an active mind to step down and let bodies rest and restore. Only then can healing happen. In this course, her goal is to marry the two. Her practices give great insight and bliss. Namaste.

Breathing With The Tree

In this practice we combine a dream journey into a forest with focusing on breathing. This is wonderful to use as Savasana either after your Yoga or Breath Work practice.
