This is Day 2 of a seven-day series of Chakra Balancing Mindfulness Meditation. A simple, easy meditation to help maintain a healthy energy system within our body. When the 7 days are completed, please feel free to repeat the cycle or work on a particular chakra that you feel like. Namaste.

Please be seated in a comfortable place where you won't be distracted.

Sit up straight.

You may want to use a cushion to support your back or lean against the wall.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your facial expressions.

We do a simple hand gesture called Nyana Mudra to help our energy circulate better.

Place both hands on your lap,

Palms facing up with your index finger touching your thumb gently.

Relax your hands.

Close your eyes.

Keep breathing naturally in and out through your nose.

Let's start by doing grounding to increase our sense of safety and security.

Imagine there are roots coming out of our root chakra at the end of our spine,

Extending through our legs,

Opening the bottom of our feet all the way down to the center of the earth.

As we inhale,

We breathe in refreshing energies from Mother Gaia,

Passing through tree roots,

Our legs,

To the root chakra,

Up to our whole body.

As we exhale,

We breathe out energies that no longer serve us through our legs,

Bottom of our feet,

Tree roots,

And send them back to the center of the earth.

Now we are securely connected with this planet.

Our gratitude to Gaia for receiving our unwanted energies.

Thank you.

Let's continue and open the second chakra.

The sacral chakra is about two inches below our belly button where the reproductive organs are.

The color of this energy point is orange.

The sacral chakra is related to sex,

Pleasure,

And creativity.

It's the energy center of emotions and feelings.

It's also related to maintaining relationships with others such as love relationships and that with our friends and family.

The energy is to help us connect with each other.

Let's send our love to the sacral chakra each time as we exhale.

Open this energy center and help it to rotate healthily.

In addition,

Use your imagination and visualize the area with an orange energy spiraling slowly.

While we are doing this breathing practice,

You'll hear a slight bell ringing in the background.

The sound is to remind you to focus on your breathing and send more love to the sacral chakra.

You may have thoughts distracting your mind during the process.

Acknowledge them and let them leave.

Then return to your breathing.

Okay,

Please adjust your sitting position.

Spine straight.

Relax your shoulders.

We spend a few more minutes and breathe to the sacral chakra.

Continue breathing.

Slowly in and out through your nose.

Body straight.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your eyebrows.

The orange energy is rotating in your sacral chakra.

Let's give it more love.

Let's go.

Well done,

Thank you.

Open your eyes and look around.
