Welcome to this guided meditation on forgiveness.
We will start this practice by getting into a comfortable position,
Either seated or laying down on a firm,
Supportive foundation.
Breathe into your body.
Settle in.
This is a time for you to go inward and to explore what needs to be released in order to move forward.
Get comfortable and relax.
Breathe in through the nose and gently but firmly out through the mouth.
Allow your breath to study,
Drawing in peace and calm.
Exhaling all tension,
Worry,
Fear.
Your belly rising with the in-breath.
And deflating with the out-breath.
Allow yourself to bring your awareness to the top of your crown,
Above your head.
Allowing it to open up.
And imagine above you a shower of white light beaming down through your crown,
All the way down to your heart,
Through your torso,
All the way down to your legs,
Finding its way to the core of the earth.
Allowing the life-force energy from the earth to rise back up through your legs,
Into your torso,
Expanding from your heart.
Allowing yourself and that light to shine as brightly as it can through your heart center and into the world.
And that light is reflected back to you,
Engulfing you in a ball of white light expanding,
Feeling positive.
You feel relaxed.
You feel calm and tranquil.
Let's stay here for a moment and breathe,
Breathing slowly and deeply into the belly.
And when you exhale,
Empty out the lungs gracefully and slowly.
Deepening your relaxation,
Bring your attention to a situation that you want to let go of,
But somehow it's been too hard.
Breathe into the sensations of the body that may arise when you think of this situation.
Let that sensation know that you acknowledge it and that you want to work with it to release it and to release anything or any person that is attached to this pain that you may feel in your body.
Knowing that you're not condoning their action,
You're just simply releasing them and the situation back to the light.
You no longer have to carry this burden.
You can give it up to the divine.
So the energy is transmuted back to the light,
Back to that healing light that we all know and that knows us from the beginning.
Let your mind open up to the idea of allowing this release and allowing you to move forward in your life,
Knowing that you are safe and secure and making this empowered choice.
Forgiving yourself for holding on and forgiving the other person for whatever they did and allowing the divine to take this on so that you may be free.
Free to expand,
Free to live a life that is yours without this heavy burden.
It's no longer yours.
You have permission to let it go.
Let it go now.
Back to that light.
You release it knowing that the divine creator will take care of this and you send all the love to this light,
Knowing that that's what you crave.
The love and the light within you for all others to experience it as well,
No matter what.
You are no longer bounded by this cord of the situation.
You are cleansed and renewed.
You know in your heart that this was too much for you to hold on to and that's why you released it.
Bringing your attention back,
Back to your body,
Grounding into your roots,
Taking another deep breath in and out,
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
Releasing,
Continuing to release deeply all the past hurts,
All the past shame and fear because of this situation.
You are filling yourself up with light and love now,
Allowing the light from the top of your head to go back up into the cosmos and connecting to source.
Allowing the love of the universe to flow through you,
The energy of completion,
Of trust,
Of gratitude.
Gratitude for this moment.
Gratitude for the empowered choice of releasing all hurts.
Today is a new day where you begin to believe in yourself again because you are worthy and coming back into the room,
Back into your space,
Making small movements and becoming more aware of your surroundings.
Letting this meditation and all that you've learned,
Learned about yourself and remembered.
Remembering your wholeness and allowing yourself to integrate all that information in your body and your mind and in your soul.
Allowing yourself to become aware that this wholeness is your true authentic being allowed to express through you.
To be experienced through you and through your eyes and to give into this moment and to really,
Really savor the beautiful feelings of feeling whole,
Of feeling safe.
You are safe.
You are loved.
You are accepted.
You are love.
