Hello and welcome.
My name is Candy Foster and I will be your host today.
I am a mindfulness meditation instructor and a Reiki Master Teacher and it is my privilege to bring you this guided new moon meditation today.
This is our final new moon of 2022 and what a year it has been.
Today we'll reflect on the past moon cycle and our intentions that we had set as well as our intentions for all of 2022.
Then we will look to the new year that is just around the corner and our intentions around it.
So take a minute now to think of your intentions and we will begin momentarily.
So let's take a deep breath in and release.
Take another deep cleansing breath in and let it all go.
And take one more deep clearing breath in filling the lungs and release it fully.
Come back to a more natural breath and start to settle into its softness,
Its gentleness,
And feel its calming effect.
Take this time to step out of your physical body,
To detach from the emotions that tend to consume us every day.
Allow yourself to assess the past month and year.
Take your time letting go of all attachments.
Observation is the key.
Observe and assess.
That is all.
Take a deep breath in and release.
The message I've received for this new moon in this moon cycle is charity.
This is certainly a time for us to give what we have to give.
What does that mean for you though?
Charity can be monetary but can be so much more.
How can you be charitable?
Trust what comes up.
How can you help another person,
Animal,
Or is it humanity in general?
How do your intentions play into this?
How can you help another while reaching your own goals?
Sit with this for a bit and see what comes up.
The other message I've received for this new moon is new beginnings.
Though this is not a big surprise as we're coming into the new year,
This is really important.
We have been in a cycle of change for a few months now and that change is starting over in new ways and continues on a global level.
This is a time when we really need to pay attention to the paths before us.
Assess all your avenues thoroughly and make conscious decisions.
Be present.
How do new beginnings play into your intentions?
Let that information flow.
Really pay attention to what comes up.
Trust it.
Your intuition is correct.
Be present with it.
It may bring up fear,
But fear is usually a sign that you're on the right track,
On the right path,
Usually a sign to keep going in this direction.
So feel it and move ahead with it anyway.
Visualize yourself moving through the fear,
Stepping out of your comfort zone and creating your own destiny.
It's time to come back to your physical space now.
Acknowledge your surroundings,
Your environment.
Bring some soft movement into your body.
Take a deep breath in and release.
Open your eyes when you're ready.
