Welcome!

I'm Candy Foster,

And I am an intuitive and a channel,

And I pull a card for The Collective each day.

Each month I choose a different deck,

And this month I've chosen the Yuletide Tarot from Christopher Hughes.

If you have not followed me yet,

Be sure to do so,

As you will get notifications every day when the daily reading is released,

Along with any other meditations,

Reiki sessions,

Etc.

,

That I have put out.

Thank you for joining,

And I hope you enjoy.

Today's message is The Chariot Reversed,

And that is number 7.

Perhaps there is no image more reminiscent and stereotypically indicative of modern Yuletide than the Santa Claus,

On his sleigh,

Flying through the night sky.

This is a transitional card that heralds the conclusion of the first set of seven cards in the Major Arcana.

The journey into the self is complete,

And this card heralds a maturity that belies its whimsical appearance.

Santa Claus may well be a jovial figure,

But there is a determination in this archetype that holds ancient voices from the distant past,

As well as modern influences.

The chariot rider is as determined as the sun is to be reborn on the morning of the solstice,

And he represents the virtues of ambition,

And progress,

And speed.

High above the towns and cities,

There is a liminality to this card that articulates a profound knowing,

A knowing that can only have come from having explored the nature of the self.

The flying reindeer are as mythical as the sphinxes that appear on this card in the traditional decks,

And they represent the unconscious mind and the cosmic elements of the self.

The chariot rider has control of this,

But only tenuously.

If he were to let go of the reins for only a second,

Chaos would ensue.

The reversed meaning.

This is akin to shutting the stable doors once the horse has bolted.

You feel as if you have lost the train,

And the situation is running away from you.

There seems to be nothing you can do to get things back on track.

Don't lose heart.

Perhaps this was not the time,

And you may not have had the right resources to help you.

I hope this message was helpful for you today.

Namaste.
