Hey y'all.

Welcome to another episode of the Wild Free Will podcast.

I'm excited to be here.

I'm always excited to be here.

That will probably never change.

So we are going to be continuing our conversation from last week in a different way because I have had a thought.

I have had like not a realization but I want to take something that I said a little bit deeper.

And we are going to continue having these kinds of conversations I think for a while because yeah because this is where I'm at right now and like things are shifting and the energy here is changing.

Let me just double check that everything's recording.

Yeah like everything is kind of like changing and moving on my end and I don't know I'm learning so much so fast and there's moving through a lot of things and I just think that we're going to be having some really interesting conversations moving forward and yeah there's going to be like a lot more lives and there's going to be just like there's a lot of things happening in my world and like I invite you to join me and be a part of those things because it's going to be pretty magical in all honesty.

But yeah let's dive into today's topic.

So last week on the podcast I was talking about the art of expanding and how when we're moving towards something new we need to be able to create space for that thing.

So we need to be like in a situation where we are where we're able to invite the thing in.

But anyways.

So like we have to be able to when in in the process of expanding in the process of inviting this energy in we need to be in a space of giving this thing that we are calling into us a space to land.

And I didn't like really expand on that too much but one of the things that I did say is that what you want will never be bigger than you can handle.

Okay.

It's never going to be bigger than you and whatever it is that you're working towards even though it might scare the shit out of you and even though it might feel like super big and kind of crazy and like whatever and if it does that's great.

And if it doesn't here's my recommendation to you if the thing that you're going through doesn't kind of like make you feel a little bit like whoa then maybe you're not shooting for the big enough thing.

We want a little bit of that heart racing.

We want a little bit of that right.

We want that energy there.

It's important.

So that's a side note though.

That's more about goal setting than what we're talking about here.

But the thing that you want is never going to be too big for you.

It's never going to be bigger or more than you can handle and you need to give it a space to land.

So let's talk about how the hell we can actually do that.

And what it comes down to is this idea of really really being in a calm and grounded space.

Everyone else is going to call this nervous system work.

I'm sick to death of that conversation.

I'm just I'm done with it.

I feel like it's become the millionth buzzword and it's cool and it's true and it's wonderful and it's all of those things but like I don't want to hold space for that anymore.

I just feel like the point is is that we need to get to a space where we can hold space for the thing that we want in our body in our system.

So it's not this mental idea.

It's no longer just the vision.

It's the creating space for it in our body.

Last time when we talked about expanding a lot of the conversation that I was having and a lot of the conversation surrounding my own experience is very very very ethereal.

So like it's about expanding your aura.

It's about feeling a little bit bigger.

It's like feeling like you're taking up more space right.

And what I'm talking about here instead is being so grounded and centered and calm and at peace within your body that you can automatically integrate whatever it is that you're working towards whatever goal it is that you're trying to achieve.

Why is this important?

Because if we are not in a space where we can accept this thing where we can like invite it in and hold it we may be at the space where we're inviting it in and then okay a little bit like last time we're pushing it away or otherwise we might actually move into some kind of self-sabotage where we're taking it where we don't feel comfortable enough having the thing where there isn't enough space in our body to hold the thing and so we are going to try to find a way to get rid of it.

It's not the same thing even though it sounds so similar and it really does sound similar I can hear it as I'm saying it.

It's not the same conversation as last time.

Last time was this energetic pushing of like I'm scared and I don't know what the hell to do with this thing and like it's all coming at me too fast and like go away go away go away because I can't handle it right and it's a little bit of that here as well but it's more like it's more like I want this thing and I've called it in and now I have these yes limiting beliefs and I have these things living inside of me that make me feel like I'm not worthy or not capable of holding on to it and so like I am going to find a way to yes push that thing away but it's not so much in an energetic sense it's also in an energetic sense but it's more like like your system is so overwhelmed by this thing like and it's not it's really not energetic I don't know how to I'm not explaining this well okay let me let me let me get a little bit clear on this you need to have the capacity to hold on to whatever it is that is coming towards you you need to be able to integrate this new thing into your energetic body the discussion from last week's podcast yes but also into your identity it needs to become a very visceral or physical aspect of who you are so we're taking the conversation beyond the energetic it is still energetic because we're never not talking about energetics because we're talking about thoughts and feelings and behaviors and emotions and all of these things and all of that falls under mindset and all of that is somewhat energetic right because we're talking about intangible things things that we cannot actually touch but in this case we are talking about holding on to not just the energetic side of things but the actual physical side of this what do I mean by that let's say that you are calling in money okay you're calling in money you want more abundance in your life and maybe you are you're at the place where it's coming it's coming it's coming and all of a sudden there's like more expenses or there's bills that need to be paid or there's something else that's popping up there's all of these things kind of coming up so the money is coming in and it's kind of going out as quickly as it's coming in it's not you necessarily actively pushing it away which is what I was describing last week but it's this not having the space within your physical being within your within your body within your nervous system to hold on to that thing so you haven't created the space for that thing to land it's coming and it's going as quickly as it's coming it's this back and forth right and it's not like last time what I was describing was like there's so much happening at once it was almost like a the frenetics of it like the frenzy of it all and I'm like okay too much too much too much too much too fast go away go away go away because I can't handle this there's still that aspect of there maybe not being space for it to land but like it was also like a me actively pushing it away that was what I was describing this is not for when you're actively pushing it away it's for when you're not able to hold on to it because you don't have the identity of the person who can hold on to it so like if we're talking about money for example you don't have the identity of somebody who can earn money easily or or like you know handle money or you believe that you're bad with money or you have like whatever these limiting beliefs are around money that are subconsciously without your active participation and that's a huge part of the difference between last week's episode and this one you're not able to hold on to it because without your active participation it's kind of like you're like subconsciously pushing it away or you're subconsciously kind of telling a story that doesn't allow you to hold on to that thing so we really need to get to a calm grounded and centered place and it is also about again the identity work which I've mentioned so creating a story and creating an identity that you embody on a daily basis of being the kind of person who can hold on to whatever this thing is so whatever it is that you're calling in you need to adopt the identity of the person who has that knows what to do with it knows how to handle it has it all under control for whatever reason if we want to use those words because a lot of people like that like I've talked about that on episodes of the podcast recently like how clients are all about the feeling in control even though it's like a huge myth but yeah like you know you need to adopt the identity of the person who can actually like handle this who can be present with this who can hold space for this so that's another step beyond the conversation that we were having last time which was creating space in your aura creating space also in your physical body but to be able to welcome this thing in like you're expanding you're allowing yourself to get bigger so there is more energetic space and physical space for this thing to come when it comes though you need to be so grounded within yourself that you can keep it keep it not in like a again closed fist kind of way it's not that it's keep it in the sense that you are really allowing yourself to be okay with it be comfortable with it be comfortable with the discomfort as well while you're moving towards the accepting of it so like for example we all want to be comfortable with having our goals with achieving our goals we want to get to that point and we want to be able to be really peaceful and centered about that thing right so if we take the example before of money we want to be comfortable with money but at the beginning if we're not comfortable with money like inherently if that's not something that we've already embodied if that's not an identity that we've already adopted then we need to be comfortable with being uncomfortable with money while we get comfortable with money that sounds absolutely insane but let me say it again we need to get comfortable with the discomfort of the process of becoming comfortable with money there is this sort of pendulum right where you're moving back and forth while you get to the point where you're really integrating something so let me recap what I've said so far because I think it's really important the conversation from last week was more from an energetic standpoint we also talked about it physically the conversation that we're having today is more on a tangible or physical level and less about the energy last week's episode was about expanding about getting bigger about allowing yourself to be a little bit brighter more visible more seen more just bigger just bigger guys we're talking about like expanding just being taking up more space being the biggest brightest boldest version of you essentially okay this week what we're talking about is the internal work of creating the physical space within you to hold that thing by doing what calming the fuck down so calming down getting really really calm getting really really getting really relaxed getting really comfortable in your body this has nothing to do with getting comfortable necessarily with that specific thing this is about just kind of again bringing your system to a neutral space okay so being calm feeling grounded feeling safe feeling secure within yourself those are all kind of things that are going to create this really safe and fertile ground for that thing to come into and take root okay whatever the goal is whatever it is that you're calling towards you if you are calm and centered and all of those things then you are going to have a really really safe fertile place for that thing to land and from there it can flourish and bloom and all of those really wonderful things right so we need to be calm and we need to be grounded and we need to begin adopting the identity of the version of us that can have this thing okay so really learning how to be the version of us that has that thing already and holding that space and holding that energy as well does that
