Welcome to this new moon meditation.
Just get comfortable and then go ahead and close your eyes.
Today we're going to tune in to the new moon and the cycle of the new moon.
It's super powerful to use the cycle of the moon and with the new moon to set your intentions,
To really tune into what's going on right now in your life and what intention do you want to set tonight with this new moon.
Take a deep breath in,
Breathing in through the nose,
Exhale through the mouth just to center yourself here now.
Let's do a few more like that.
As you exhale just letting go of the day,
Allowing you to be present right here,
Right now,
With this energy of the new moon.
And then when you're ready allowing the breath to flow in and out of your nose throughout this practice.
Imagine yourself sitting somewhere comfortably under the night sky.
Notice what you notice here.
Maybe you're aware of the stars in the sky,
The earth beneath your feet.
As you connect to the elements within and around you from the earth energy to the sensation of the flow of water and fire,
Air,
Space and consciousness.
Connecting to the cycle of the moon,
The new moon always reminding us to start again just like each breath is a new beginning.
This is your time to feel into the energy of the new moon.
What intention do you want to set for yourself?
What is something that you want to feel,
To do,
To explore in your life?
Just be here now observing and listening.
How am I feeling in this moment?
What is my intention with this new moon?
Maybe you even have a goal or something on your mind.
That you are attracting into your life.
What intention is aligned with that?
Listen and observe.
How would that look and feel and sound when you approach with newness?
In this moon cycle.
Just like the moon.
Because no matter what has happened before,
We can always start now.
We can always decide now and set that intention.
Allowing your third eye,
The eye of the soul right between your eyebrows to connect here with the consciousness and seeing in your mind's eye this intention for yourself.
How does it feel?
How does it look?
How does it sound?
What does it require from you?
This intention of yours.
Does it require more trust?
More openness?
More courage?
I want you to really sit with that question for a moment.
What does my intention require from me?
So that you can commit right here in this moment to let yourself be that,
Whether it's openness or trusting or believing in yourself,
Whatever it is.
Just listen and observe and commit to that feeling or word that feels in alignment with your intention.
And then just be here.
You have set your intention.
Now just be here in this space.
Just be here in this space,
One with the consciousness,
The one mind,
The oneness.
In tune with the cycle of the moon,
Knowing that you have set your intention with this new moon.
Under this night sky,
In tune with the new moon.
Simply observing.
Nothing to do,
Just to be here in this moment.
Letting thoughts simply come and go.
And so it is,
As you take a deep breath in,
Sealing this practice and making your way into the space you're in and coming back and opening your eyes.
