Your breath can do two things for your body, instruct it to panic or to be at ease. In this meditation, instruct your body to be at ease. Relax your muscles, your mind, and your thoughts as you breathe.

Your breath can instruct the body to either panic or be calm.

With this breath,

Imagine it's sending calming instructions.

Each deep inhale,

Slow and steady.

Instructing the body to be at ease.

Telling each of your muscles to relax and your mind to settle.

Allowing your thoughts to rest.

In and out.

In.

In.

In.

And out.

In.

And out.

Continue breathing just like that.

Reminding your body of its instructions to be at ease.

Continue for a few moments.

Continue breathing in and out.

Slow and steady.

As you allow your breathing to return to normal,

Don't forget the instruction to be at ease.

Your mind,

Your body,

Your thoughts.

Throughout the day,

If your body forgets,

Remind it with a deep inhale,

Followed by a slow and steady exhale.
