Find comfort in your seat,
Breathe easy,
Allow your muscles to relax one by one.
From the tension in your jaw,
To the way you hold up your shoulders,
Allow them to drop.
Ease those abs,
Let your feet meld into your space.
With ease in your heart,
Ask yourself a very important question.
What do I want?
How often is someone asking you what you want and actually listening?
How often are you asking what you want?
Not what you need,
Not what will sustain you,
Not what will get you by for now.
But what you want,
What will make you thrive,
What will make your heart skip a beat and your mind relax.
Grasp on to what you want,
Hold on to it.
Keep that thought of what you want front and center of your mind right now.
Don't allow what you want to fade away.
Don't allow it to disappear into the background.
Keep it right at the forefront.
What you want doesn't have to give away for what you need.
And certainly never for what someone else wants.
What you want deserves a place in your mind and your heart.
When you know what you want,
You can go after it.
You can reach for it.
And eventually,
You'll grab it.
As you leave this meditation,
Don't let what you want remain here.
Take it with you.
