Trust In Him

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. But when things aren't going our way, faith is even harder when things aren't seen. So take a moment and remind yourself to continue trusting—no matter what. Trust with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

Nothing is going as planned. You're praying, But answers seem non-existent. You're hoping, But feeling discouraged. You have faith, But a mustard seed seems too big in the moment. You want to believe all will be well, But every moment it isn't is getting harder. It's easy to pray when answers seem immediate. It's easy to believe when you see the results. It's easy to trust when all is going well. It's when it's not, That's when your faith is tested. When your endurance grows. When your hope is renewed. When you're reminded to let go. To release what makes sense. Take a breath. Slowly. In and out. One more time. Continue breathing for a moment. When it's the hardest, Trust more. Proverbs 3 and 5 says, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Again, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
