Please find a comfortable seated position,

Whatever that means to you Keeping the spine long and straight And gently close your eyes Bringing your awareness to your natural breath In and out of the nose Inhaling and exhaling Delving inward A lot of us are meditating these days,

But what exactly is meditation?

Well,

This is a question many of us do not ask ourselves before starting a meditation practice And we certainly should be For this question gets to the root of why we are meditating in the first place Meditation is a cultivation of the mind It is an awareness of the mind,

Of feelings and emotions In the practice of meditation,

We allow the thoughts to dissipate By recognizing them,

Accepting them And then simply letting them be Inhaling and exhaling Delving inward Through the practice of meditation,

We can enter a stable state of concentration In the presence of our innermost being This allows the ego,

The internal dialogue to become an afterthought And allows you,

The meditator,

To come to the realization that anonymity is beautiful That you do not need to do anything,

Anything at all to be you To be the self To be here and now Coming back to your breath Your inhalations and exhalations In and out of the nose Thank you for continuing to deepen your meditation practice with me Namaste
