Hello,
This is Brenda Carey with Sacred Path Healing,
And I'm going to guide us through a typical start your day energy healing session.
And it varies from day to day on what I do for my quiet time,
Usually early in the morning,
Somewhere between 5 and 6 a.
M.
But if that's not the time that it is for you right now,
Just know that this energy healing technique can just be a good start,
Whatever time that it is.
But I start in a seated position,
Something comfortable.
And I take a few deep breaths while rubbing the palms of my hands together.
And in the Reiki tradition,
As we breathe deeper,
And as we draw awareness to the palms of our healing hands,
We are calling in universal life force energy,
Reiki energy.
And it's not some kind of magical,
Special thing.
Only certain people do.
Anyone can with intention.
So as I'm breathing deep in,
I'm just going to call in this energy and you might see it as white light or another color.
You just might feel it come into either your hands or the heart space or maybe the crown of your head.
Kind of unique to everyone.
If you're not sure,
Just pick one.
So I'm going to breathe in and out deeply three times as I internally call in universal life force energy.
So here we go.
Seeing that energy flow in through you.
And then from here,
Noticing the heat on my hands,
I'm now going to place it on my heart and connect into my heart beating.
Because this is a reminder of honestly the miracle that I already am.
I don't have to do anything to prove myself,
But that my heart beating at the perfect rhythm for me and the perfect rhythm for you.
Is how I connect into this energy.
Of I am a miracle and I can also expect miracles.
So as you close your eyes down,
Feeling the rhythm of your heart.
And then asking,
What do I need today?
And without overanalyzing it,
Just notice what pops into your mind.
What do I need?
Today.
And drawing in a deep breath.
And just noticing if a word or a short phrase just pops in.
And using that word or phrase as your intention for your day.
And oftentimes I'll write down this intention in my journal,
Or I'll say it to myself or out loud several times.
So it helps me tune back into what I want to align with throughout my day.
And then I ask some inquiries.
And this has to do with the reciprocity of energy.
So by that,
I mean being open to receive,
To draw in what I need,
And then being open to take that energy out and serve.
So the first question I ask while I am just tuning in to this heart-centered space.
As I will ask Spirit,
Universe,
God,
Whatever you call it.
Like,
What do I need to know today?
And it's not necessarily a rational knowing.
But more of an impression.
Like,
What do I need?
To know today,
To be in alignment with my intention.
And I just see her in pause for a few deep breaths.
And if nothing comes,
That's totally okay.
What do I need to know today,
Spirit?
And if possible,
Send me a sign,
A sign only I would know,
A unique sign to me.
Of what I need to know from you.
And then after I've spent a few more breaths there,
I'll then bring my hands down with palms up.
This is a hand gesture as to open to receive.
And then the reciprocity continues.
And I think this is one of the most important questions to ask.
And you may phrase it differently,
That's fine.
But the next question is,
How may I serve today?
Or maybe for you,
How may I be of help or of use today?
And just being open to that.
And again,
An actual answer may not come right away.
But you are aligning to being of service to the world and who knows what might show up for you.
And just be open to an opportunity to serve the greater good.
Maybe it's a person,
Maybe it's an opportunity that shows up.
You just never know.
So I hope this is helpful as a start to your day.
I would encourage you to journal any what I call divine downloads that come through as a way to help process this internal experience onto paper.
And then as a closing,
I will bring my hands together at heart center.
Touching into the heart space,
Drawing my thumbs up to the third eye as a signal of acknowledging my intuition,
My greater and deeper knowing.
And then exhale,
Hands back to heart.
