Good morning.
This is Brenda Cary.
Let's begin this day together,
Fully present,
With a calm mind,
An open heart,
And gather your hot tea or coffee or a simple glass of water.
You may also want your journal and pen by your side for any divine inspirations that arise during or after this meditation.
Find a comfortable seat and either close the eyes down or a soft gaze as you gather your mug in your hands.
Bring your awareness to your fingertips and then the palms of the hands and notice the sensations there.
Breathe a little bit deeper,
Savoring each inhale and exhale.
And on your next inhale,
Whenever that arises,
Float your awareness from the palms of your hands all the way up your arms to the shoulders and then to the center of the chest at your heart space.
Breathe deep in and out of the heart,
Expanding your energy,
Expanding your awareness,
And becoming more present with each breath.
And as you connect to this energy of your heart center,
Feel into words or images that float into your mind without forcing it.
Emotions that could reside in the heart could be compassion,
Joy,
Forgiveness,
Kindness,
Generosity,
And as always,
Self-love.
Allow these higher vibrational emotions to expand as you breathe life into them so much that you begin to feel sensations throughout your whole body.
On your next exhale,
Whenever that arrives,
Take your awareness back to the heart,
Down the arms,
Returning to the palms of your hands and fingertips,
And infuse your hot tea,
Coffee,
Or water with your heart-centered words.
Imagine those feelings floating and swimming in the liquid,
This liquid of your pure intention.
You are sending love and light into your drink that you will ingest.
When you are ready,
If you haven't already,
Begin to draw your mug up toward your nose,
Breathe in the aroma,
Sipping your tea or coffee,
And allowing the taste to linger for just a moment before swallowing.
You are ingesting the high vibration of the feelings from your heart,
Take it all in,
And allow it to heal not only your heart,
But your whole body,
Mind,
And spirit.
Give yourself a moment here to bask in this presence,
And when the mind wanders,
Again coming back to the sensations at the palms of your hands,
Drawing the energy up your arms to your heart center,
Connect to the feelings that arise as you breathe deep.
And then when you're ready,
Exhaling from your heart center,
Down the arms,
Back to the palms of the hands,
Into the water.
Remember that there is no separation between you and the water that you hold at the palms of your hands.
Since our bodies are mostly water,
Remember that you flow just like water.
Allow the sipping of your tea or coffee to be a sacred ritual every morning that you can do for yourself to remember who you really are.
And from this inner knowing,
If you would like to set an intention,
A heart-centered intention for your day,
You could say it to yourself or out loud,
Or grab your journal and write it down along with any other divine inspirations that pour out from your heart.
It's not a to-do list.
It's a remembering of who you really are.
My hope is that you take time for yourself every morning to bask in the presence of this moment.
And as you go into your day,
Remind yourself of your heart-led intention.

But bringing that love energy into your day to every person you encounter,
And it ripples out just like water into the world.
