004 | Conscious Cache - Mind-Idea-Expression
An exploration of that thinking substance that we draw from that is as part of us and that we are actually embedded in if you will. We get these ideas of how to live our life or what we want to do with our life. And then we express them. It is our expression that wins the day.

Welcome to Conscious Cash.
I'm your host,
Thomas Deschuter.
Originally,
This wasn't a series of talks that I was planning on sharing here on Insight Timer.
And now it has occurred to me that it's,
It's a relevant thing to do.
And so I thank you so much for your patience with me on this journey.
Episode four of Conscious Cash and episode three,
We left off discussing The Science of Getting Rich,
Which is a book by Wallace D.
Waddles.
The whole idea of desire is possibility seeking expression was one of my takeaways from that book that I absolutely love.
And there were three main creed statements.
I left off on one of them,
So I'll repeat it.
Number one is there is a thinking stuff from which all things are made and which in its original state permeates,
Penetrates and fills the interspaces of the universe.
And when I think of my teachings that I'm going through right now at Unity,
As I'm on the ministerial path,
We have something known as mind idea expression.
The idea being or the exploration of that being that there is a substance that we draw from or as part of us that we are actually embedded in,
If you will.
And we get these ideas of how to live our life or what we want to do with our life,
And then we express them.
And that's the action part.
So again,
He had three creeds.
The first one being there is this thinking stuff.
The second one is a thought in this substance produces the thing that is imagined by the thought.
Number three,
A person can form things in their thought and by impressing their thought upon formless substance,
Can cause the thing they think about to be created.
That is mind idea expression.
And what's critical here is getting back to the first part,
Desire is possibility seeking expression.
If you don't truly desire something,
If you're not really fired up about it and have imagined it to the point where you can feel it,
You can taste it,
You can feel it,
You can taste it,
You can actually see it right before you.
So much so that if somebody mentions the idea of that to you,
You already know what it looks like and you've already thought of all the finer details.
So,
For example,
If it's a house that you've imagined for your life that you're going to buy this house and it's going to be on a hill and it's going to overlook water,
Whatever that is,
When you've thought about it so much that you know all the intimate details of it,
Then anytime it's brought up,
You can just imagine the whole thing in your mind.
You know how the mind is,
A million ideas pouring at once.
Well,
In this case,
That desire that you have that you've completely thought about that you understand fully,
You get the whole entire picture in your mind as soon as you think about it.
And so you spend your day with that in mind,
But not like you're just thinking about it only,
Just that you know it's there,
You're aware of it,
And it's going to happen.
And in the book,
He talks about like,
What if it's a job?
What if you want a different job for your life or you want to start a business or something in that vein and you're in this current realm that's not that?
Well,
In your spare time,
You totally get clear on what that desire is and you imagine it in every way possible and you understand it and feel it and sense it and know it's your truth and it's going to happen for you.
There's no doubt.
And then while you're on the day to day job of doing what you're currently doing,
You still do that to the best of your ability.
But you are so clear that what you want for yourself is already happening that when you just think about it,
When you just have a moment where you turn your attention to it,
It's all there.
You get it.
You know it.
You feel it.
You love it.
You're like,
Oh,
Yeah,
That's happening.
I know it's coming.
Not even I know what's coming.
It's already done.
And now you're just going about the business of completing what you're completing in that moment and you're doing it to the best of your ability.
There's no need to take away from somebody else or to dismantle your life or anything of that nature.
It's really focus on what you're doing at the time.
Do it to the best of your ability and knowing fully that this other thing is already happening.
So in order to do this,
A person must pass from the competitive to the creative mind.
Huge.
This is not about competing with somebody else so that you take them down.
Nothing in life.
I love how Wallace puts this in the book.
Nothing in life should be about taking apart somebody else's dream or somebody else's life.
If you truly want riches in the world of finance in the world of money,
Then the key to that is to open up the creative mind,
Mind idea expression,
And not the competitive mind where you're on the world of emotion and the world of sense consciousness.
This is about the creative world being a creative person,
Creative consciousness,
And opening that up.
And from your creative mind,
If you're tapped into who you really are and what you really want in your life,
Your creative mind will give you the ideas necessary.
And all there is to do at that point is express them is to get out there and allow your creative juice to flow.
Don't be afraid.
So I'll continue with number four here.
In order to do this,
A person must pass from the competitive to the creative mind.
They must form a clear mental picture of the things they want and hold this picture in their thoughts with a fixed purpose to get what they want and the unwavering faith that they get what they want.
Closing their mind to all that may tend to shake their purpose or dim their vision or quench this faith.
In other words,
Any naysayers,
Anybody out there trying to take you down,
That's not possible.
You'll never make it.
That's crazy talk.
Or if you're even doing that to yourself,
As I've done many times in my life,
Eliminate that stuff.
This is about you knowing what you truly desire,
What you truly desire,
Having full faith that it is already done and moving forward with your life in that absolute belief.
That way you will receive what you want when it comes.
You are ready to accept it because you're already tuned into it.
It's beautiful.
You know,
And I've seen this in my own life.
When I think back to my immature self back in my 20s,
When I was on the path of being a musician and making records and touring,
That's all I thought about.
That's all I wanted.
And I can see at the very moment where that became less than what I truly desired.
When other desires,
I allowed other desires to sort of take over or infiltrate that thinking,
I can see how I ended up moving away from that pursuit,
Not good or bad.
It's just in my own life,
I can see it.
It's a perfect example.
And it's so wonderful to have a reflection point to be able to look back and go,
Oh,
I can see where that changed.
I can see where that shift created the next stage of my life.
And I love where I am today.
This is,
You know,
I would not trade where I am today for anything else that happened in the past.
It's just great to be able to build on that and see.
Aha.
And so when I read a book like the Science of Getting Rich,
And I don't even know how I stumbled upon it the other day.
I just,
You know,
Through reading something or researching something or going down a rabbit hole,
I ended up coming across this book and thought,
Oh,
That's interesting.
I'll give it a listen.
I went to the library audio book app that I have on my phone and it happened to be available.
Cool.
Downloaded it,
Started listening to it and boom.
This is when something like this comes along and it's reinforcing all of the ideas that I have been building upon from other influences.
This kind of comes out of left field and supports all of those other things I've been reading and thinking about on my path to ministry and the very men that I hang out with on a regular basis where the main influences in my life.
It's just like,
Wow,
That's so cool.
I love it.
I love also what Wallace went on to talk about,
Which is you must fill up more than your present place by doing all that there is to be done.
You must be larger than your present place by leaving nothing undone that needs to be done.
This is about being more of your goodness rather than less than your whole goodness.
So when you,
This is about filling up.
If you imagine that you're in a room and this room is a certain level of consciousness or a certain level of desire and you've decided,
You know what,
I'm just,
I'm going to fill this room with everything I have.
I'm going to be the best I can be in this moment and I'm just going to blow the doors off this room.
This is what he's talking about is filling up the room without filling up that space with all that you can so that you actually force by doing that,
You force the next level of space to show up for you to fill up.
It's a building block as you progress forward,
As you push yourself,
As you do the work.
In other words,
The imagination,
As you do the mind idea expression,
As you get into action,
Or as my friend Mike Watts said to me,
You can't lean on the shovel and expect the hole to be dug.
So you must,
You must actually get into action when you do this and you fill up that space and you push,
You push on it,
Guess what happens?
A new space emerges for you to fill up and then another space and then another space.
It's a constant building for us to continue to push ourselves into.
So do every day all that you can do that day and do each act in an efficient manner.
Do every day all that you can do in that day and be efficient and do it to the best of your ability in that moment.
So this is not about doing more work.
This is not about taking all the stuff that you're supposed to do tomorrow and trying to cram it in today.
This is about doing what needs to be done today,
Doing it super efficiently and doing it to the best of your ability and then retiring for the day.
And then when tomorrow comes,
You get up and you do the same thing.
You fill the space with your intention,
With your ability,
With your desire and the best that you can.
And that's it.
And then the next day comes and the promise of thinking of the science of getting rich.
I almost said of think and grow rich,
But the promise of the science of getting rich is that if you follow this recipe,
Everything will unfold exactly as you've imagined it.
It may not look precisely the same because sometimes things show up way better than we ever could have imagined them.
But it will unfold for you.
You just have to have the faith.
You have to have the desire inside and you have to get into action.
Namaste.
