Are two of the most important times of the day for our minds and the power it holds.
Let's talk about waking up with positive energy.
When you wake up,
How do you feel?
How do you speak to yourself?
Are you happy to embrace the new day,
Or do you dread it?
Are you feeling motivated and ready to go,
Or do you rise with the feeling of another day that I haven't reached my goal,
Another day stuck in this hole,
Or I'll never make it?
Thoughts are things,

We've got to program ourselves from the moment we wake up to look forward.
We can't stop the negative or fear thoughts from coming into our minds upon awakening,
But we can stop it from taking root and growing into an uncontrollable monster.
I've been there.
It's not nice.
So how do we wake up and control our mind?
For one thing,
It might be best not to listen to the news first thing in the morning.
This can often happen when the clock radio alarm goes off on the hour or the half hour.
Maybe you don't want to hear about troubles as soon as you wake up.
Maybe you should turn the sound down for the duration that the news usually runs so you don't hear it.
And you can always turn it back up when the music comes back on or the weather comes on.
Now,
When the black thought clouds start tumbling in,
As soon as you become aware of them,
Stop right then and change those thoughts to more constructive ones.
A quick fix might be to immediately start saying a favorite affirmation over and over until you obliterate that black,
Dark thought.
