Hello and welcome to Daily BOMB.
If you're dealing with stress in the mind and the body,
Consider joining me for this brief meditation.
As you find yourself in a comfortable seated or lying down position,
Feel free to relax your eyes or close them completely as we begin to center and ground ourselves in God's Spirit.
Begin to slowly bring your attention to your inhaling and exhaling breath.
Breathing in from your center and as you exhale begin to gently release through the mouth.
Taking a deep breath in,
Allowing yourself to slow down and wind down.
Relaxing the arms and the legs,
We're reminded that when we cast our cares on the Lord,
He will sustain us.
So your next inhaling breath begin to breathe into that promise and as you exhale,
Cast those cares.
Taking a deep breath from your belly,
Breathe in to that life-giving energy and breath that God has given you and as you exhale,
Gently release a little bit more.
For we know that he will never let the righteous be shaken.
As you settle a little bit more in your space,
Continue to breathe deeply from your center.
Breathing into that life-giving energy,
Filling your belly,
Lungs,
And chest and as you exhale,
Gently release worry,
Stress,
And all those things that cause heaviness on your heart.
As you continue to breathe,
Feel yourself becoming lighter with more space to trust and to rest in the peace of God.
