The Goddesses Of Ice

This Meditation started with a request; from a gorgeous soul who was seeking a meditation of ice as an element of expansion and protection. And I was instantly inspired by the image of the Ice Goddesses and Giantesses of Norse and Celtic folklore. These huge powerful women of shattering power; makers, breakers, creators of mountains and islands, unafraid to take up space in the world. So, I offer you this gentle story of ice, goddesses and powerful space. The Ice Maidens Cometh.

The perfect mediation on this frosty icy day in Nottinghamshire, after taking a 4km family walk in the local nature reserve where the ice and hoar frost were so thick and beautiful in the weak winter sunshine ❄️ I adore winter and this was the perfect meditation to rest/nap to after being awake from 2:30 this morning! 🥱 Thank you Sarah.

I almost didn’t play this one because I hate the cold but I love how Sarah started it out by saying “Just because they’re ice goddesses doesn’t mean we have to be cold. Wrap yourself in some blankets and get comfortable.” I also really like how she framed it as empowerment and standing hard as ice.
