Lição 1
The Origin Of All Wealth
Wealth is not just about money or possessions. Wealth is a gift from God that includes the ability to experience and enjoy His blessings. God is the source of all wealth and He gives it to us according to His will. He wants us to use our wealth wisely and generously, to honor Him and to help others. Wealth is not something we earn or deserve; it is a sign of God's grace and love for us.
Lição 2
God's Provision
One of the most comforting truths in the Bible is that God is our provider. He knows our needs and He promises to supply them according to His riches in glory. He is not limited by our circumstances or our resources. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We can trust Him to take care of us and to bless us with His grace and favor.
Lição 3
Tithing And Giving
Tithing and giving are two ways of honoring God with our finances and supporting His work in the world. Tithing is the practice of giving 10% of our income to the church, as instructed in the Old Testament. Giving is the act of generously sharing our resources with others, as encouraged in the New Testament. Both tithing and giving demonstrate our faith, obedience and gratitude to God, who is the source of all we have.
Lição 4
Budgeting
Budgeting according to the Bible is a way of being good stewards of the resources that God has given us. It involves planning our spending and saving wisely, while also giving back to God through tithing. Budgeting helps us avoid debt, which is a form of slavery, and enables us to use our money for God's glory and kingdom.
Lição 5
Saving
Saving money is a wise and prudent practice that is encouraged by the Bible. Saving helps us to prepare for the future and avoid unnecessary debt. However, saving should not be done out of greed or anxiety, but out of trust in God and generosity towards others. Saving should be balanced with giving and spending according to God's will and our needs.
Lição 6
Debt
Debt is a serious matter according to the Bible. It warns us that borrowing money can lead to slavery, hardship and dependence on others. The Bible also encourages us to lend generously and compassionately to those in need. However, the Bible does not forbid debt altogether, nor does it promise that God will erase our debts miraculously. We should use wisdom and prudence when we decide to borrow money, and we should always honor our obligations and repay our debts.
Lição 7
Finding Contentment
Contentment according to the Bible is trusting God in every situation. It comes from accepting Christ and His promises. We can be content by seeking His kingdom and righteousness first. This applies to every facet of our lives including our finances.
