Hello,
Welcome to this love journaling meditation.
Love.
There are so many definitions,
So many different kinds of love.
Love of a partner,
Of a child,
Of a mother,
Of a father.
Love of a sister,
Of a brother.
Love of a pet.
Love of a dear friend.
The love you give to yourself.
The love you give to those you don't even know.
Compassion,
Love,
Kindness.
The love you have for your experiences.
Today,
We will focus in on love.
We'll focus in on your heart.
That beautiful organ of love.
Take a moment and get super comfortable.
Ideally seated.
And if you wish your journal by your side,
I will offer a journal prompt.
And really settle in.
Really settle in with no distractions.
Give this gift of love to yourself.
Gently close your eyes.
And breathe in.
And breathe out.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
Feel your breath.
Gentle,
Easy,
Miraculous.
This loving gift of life that you breathe in and breathe out.
Witness your breath.
Really place your attention on your heart.
Notice your heartbeat.
Your heartbeat.
Beating love.
Life.
Life force through your body.
Breathe into the miracle of your heart.
The organ of love.
The miracle organ of love.
The organ that pumps life through your body.
I invite you to feel into all the appreciation and the love that you feel for your heart and in your heart.
In this moment,
As you give this gift of attention to your heart,
You are giving yourself the gift of love.
How does that feel?
How do you feel in this moment?
Focusing on your heart.
Focusing on love.
How do you feel when you give yourself this gift of time and space just to be grateful and appreciate and love your own heart,
Your own self?
I invite you now to think about someone or something or some experience or a pet that you love.
Giving that person,
Place,
Thing or experience to your mind's eye.
And as you think of this person,
Place,
Thing,
Pet,
Experience,
Notice how you feel in your body.
Notice your senses.
Are you warm?
Are you feeling tingly?
Is there emotion rising?
Allow these feelings and just witness them.
I invite you now to turn toward your journal and write about how you feel when you focus on love.
You might say,
When I focus on love,
I feel.
When I focus on love,
I feel.
There's no wrong or right way to do this.
We're just having fun writing about love.
And as you're writing,
Notice if you feel any differently than when you started this meditation.
Notice if by tapping into your heart,
By revisiting a place,
An experience or someone or something that you love,
Did it change how you felt in that moment?
You may want to stay with your journal and write about that as well.
And so I will leave you here with your journal and a little music,
And I will sign off and say,
Wishing you so much love.
Namaste.
Namaste.
Namaste.
Namaste.
