Seeing reality as a dream.
This practice would help you understand a difficult situation or person that is in your life.
And what they represent in you.
Why you are resisting them.
And it will help you in accepting that resistance and releasing it,
Letting it go.
Take a deep breath in.
And close your eyes.
First,
Let's talk about dreams.
In a dream,
You are a separate character,
Seeing various people,
Objects,
Animals in various situations.
And when you wake up in the morning,
You know with certainty that this was all a creation of your own mind.
Dream interpreters know this very well.
And so when they interpret dreams,
They think about each experience within the dream and what part of you it can represent.
In a similar way,
When we explore this reality,
We find that everything happens within.
The body and the mind appear within awareness.
And every sound,
Every sense perception also appears within awareness.
Not at a distance,
But right here within you.
As soon as it appears,
You know it.
It is intimately close to you.
The same is true for other people and situations that we find ourselves in.
Each situation,
Each event,
Each occurrence is a perfect reflection of you in each moment.
Just like what is happening in the world is a pure reflection of the level of consciousness that humanity is at,
What happens in your world is a pure reflection of parts of you taking form to be revealed,
To be seen,
Understood and realigned with what is true.
As such,
When another person,
Event or situation triggers you,
See everything as part of you.
Explore it as though it was a dream.
Know that it all happened within you.
That your reaction and what happened are two parts of the same coin.
And ask yourself,
What does it represent in me?
In this way,
What you are doing is that you are letting go of the projection of the created separation between you and that person,
Event or situation.
And you are bringing it closer to the feeling that is being triggered.
When you do this,
You understand that the emotion that you are feeling is not resulting from the person,
Event or situation,
It is simply within you to be felt and released.
Once you do that,
You will see through the eyes of love,
You will see the same people,
The same situations differently.
Either they won't trigger you anymore or you will not resist them if there is a desire to act or to say something,
It will come from love,
Not from anger,
Frustration or judgement.
Once released,
You also know with certainty that your self,
Awareness itself is not affected by any thoughts,
Emotions,
Situations or people that appear within.
You remain whole,
Complete and ever-present,
As always.
And you can be thankful,
You can be grateful for what has been triggered and revealed,
Because now you've been able to feel it and let it go.
