Change is happening around us naturally and effortlessly all the time. In a similar way, big life decisions happen exactly when they are meant to happen, and by resting as the Witnessing Presence we can know this with certainty and remain in the Here and Now and watch the body/mind make the necessary adjustments in the world. Hi and welcome to this meditation on how to know when to make a change.

Notice in this moment how everything is unfolding naturally and effortlessly.

The breath is slowly coming in and out.

Thoughts are occurring one after the other.

Everything in you and around you is moving gradually,

Step by step.

Notice that in this way it is already changing.

What happens sometimes is that some changes are seemingly more sudden than others.

In some cases,

Situations around us begin to evolve in ways that we gradually begin to resist.

As we ourselves evolve,

Our perception of things also changes.

So sometimes,

Whether it is in a relationship,

In a situation at work,

Or with changing home,

As we stay in the same situation,

We begin to feel that it is no longer right for us.

The more we stay,

The more we feel this.

No matter how much we know about managing emotions,

Feeling our resistance,

Staying in the present,

For some mysterious reason,

These thoughts and feelings remain when it comes to this situation.

At some point,

It often happens that life gives an extra nudge.

It could be an argument,

Being given additional tasks at the job,

Or a new problem with the apartment or house.

And this is what tips us over the edge.

We can no longer remain in that situation.

We have to make a change.

So just as it is best to wait before making decisions,

Until the decision to be made is crystal clear,

In such situations it is also best to stay until we can no longer stay.

Then it is very easy to know that all that is happening is meant to happen,

And to rest as the witnessing presence,

Watching the body-mind take action to make the necessary changes.

Thank you for listening.

That’s my exact and recurring experience with change—something happens that confirms the decision. Not that fallout won’t happen, but at least you know you have to do it. Thank you, Boyan! Donna

Nothing stays the same and it’s reassuring to be reminded that we should sometimes just let go, thank you, Boyan, for sharing your calm wisdom 🙏🏻
